Maria set the bag beside her bed and then laid down, she was super excited but she couldn't help but to feel the slightest bit worried. She didn't really know how Victor's other friends were, and she was scared they might be mean. They can't be mean.. right? Dad isn't mean so why would he have mean friends. Maria told herself in the efforts to calm herself down. It hadn't worked though, and the more she thought.. the worse it got.
Victor sighed and then he explained. " Tearing out the metal parts, carrying them across the basement, doing it for 3 rows, and then pouring down soil is heavy lifting. Digging the holes and planting the seeds isn't. Currently, I am finishing up all the more harder stuff. Which is why I don't want you to help right now. " His voice was calm, yet the slightest bit annoyed.

Bailey sensed Maria's worry and hopped up into her bed after struggling a little. She whined softly and nudged Maria's arm with her wet nose
Alaska noticed, but didn't really care at the moment. "Okay, sure. But lifting with two hands would be better than straining your one good one."

Maria jumped a little and then giggled upon noticing it was Bailey, " Hey, your nose is super cold. " She said, gently stroking the dogs fur.
" I treasure the fake arm more then I do the real one. " He replied in his usual stubborn way as he continued his work, and soon he was getting out the seeds he needed to plant. " What should go in the first row? " He asked, looking down at the many packets of seeds in his hands.
