Tracey absentmindedly uses hers for origami practice while she reads the next question. ENding up with a very pretty snowflake.

After a bit, your about to turn it in, when a page splits in half, revealing a hidden question. It had a picture of a chessboard all set up, except a black pawn was moved 2 spaces up. The question read: according to the rules of chess, is this possible? Why?

Lorenzo made a face. Ewwww chest, he thought to himself.
He made a face and just wrote, yes, the player is like me, they don't care about chess and rules were never stipulated.

Yes.
A white knight could have gone first, then the black pawn two spaces, then the white knight was put back to its original position in the next turn.
Easy peasy, Dashiell thought.

Tracey blinked. She'd never played chess in her life. Partly because her family just didn't own one so she saw no need to learn about it.

She wrote, "Have never played in my life and have never read anything about it."

A bit later, the pencil woman cried, *PENCILS!*, making people jump. Quieter, she said, *pencils, children. Your time is up. Please bring up your tests.*

When that happened, she said checked them and then said, *the following people shall come back here at 3 oclock tomorrow for the next stage of testing.* then she called out all your names and said, *that is all.*

Everyone else freaked out, pissed, confused, or shocked. The cheating girl just shrugged and left.

Yippee.

Tracye hurries out.

Dashiell did a victory dance in his seat.
Well, that was weird. What happened now?

Lorenzo put his pencil back in his ear and walked out with a frown.
