His name is Akinori. He is not famous or well-known. But he will be. Even now as he sleeps, he dreams. Would you like to know what he is dreaming? Well...

CRASH! rang the thunder throughout the forest. The rains have been present for nearly a fortnight and the forest is now mushy and swamp like. Animals of the forest are forced to abandon their homes to retreat to higher and higher ground as the rivers keep rising. The animals are scared, but one is not. His name is Akinori. Jumping from floating log to the slick bank he rescues a stranded hedgehog and reunites her with her family waiting at the high-grounds. Eek! screeches a chipmunk, who has climbed up a tree and can not get down. The clever fox, Akinori, quickly finds a nearby branch to reach up to the chipmunk to make a little ladder. As the chipmunk gratefully scurries down the branch, Akinori sighs a sigh of relief, "Another one saved."

The rescues are becoming more and more dangerous but Akinori does not stop. He has not slept, he has not eaten for many days. He loves this forest: his home. And he loves his neighbors and the creatures that are what truly make up a forest.

CRASH! Another bout of thunder and a strike of lightning sends a tree branch atop a mother hog. She is pinned and her piglets squeal as they nudge at the branch. Their hooves slip in the mud as they try desperately to help their mother. Akinori bounds to the rescue. But even this branch is too large for him. He and the piglets push at the branch, but it barely moves. The water is rising around them. Another river must have flooded. Quickly, he looks around and spies just what he needed: a thick stick. This stick is sturdy and he knows he will be able to use leverage and pry up the pinning branch. It is a tough effort but the stick does the trick. Mother hog now has enough room to wiggle out from under the branch. Squeals of joy all around as mom and babies are together again. They hurry off to safety.

CRASH!
"Eep!" Little Akinori sprang up out of his slumber in his warm bed. It was all a dream. He is still too young. He is not famous or well-known. But he will be. His name is Akinori.




(Sorry this was so long. I. Want. That. Fox. My little Akinori... Also, these are beyond adorable.)

"cj, ryli! come eat" yelled mother. caring for her adopted pups wasn't the easiest job without a spouse but she did a great job."oh you guys are my life" she whispered as she saw them smirking with mud covered paws and grass in their fur. "you messy lil pups, go get yourself cleaned up for supper". they hurriedly splashed their paws in a puddle and shook the grass from their fur before heading inside for a meal.after eating they snuggled with their mother under the blankets and fell fast asleep. mother looked at them and tears fell her eyes. "I love you so much" she breathed and kissed each one before shutting her eyes.

6. Small Story for your puppy: Nian was a small pup, the runt of the litter. She had bright eyes and she would always play with the others. One day when it was time to adopt out. All her littermates were taken and she was left. After the owners were going to give up on adopting her out, Sys(Me) walked in, her eyes bright. When she saw the pup she smiled brightly and ran up to the small pup. Sys then decided that she needed a new companion for her other dog was growing old and she feared of being alone. She smiled at her friend for the pup and bowed, before leaving, the small pup in her arms.
