Basic

Name
Freya Skare (Sco-ra) (imagine it's the a with the two dots over it because sylestia doesnt allow that)

Gender/Pronouns
Female, She/Her

Age
20

General Appearance
(I couldnt find any suitable picture for what I had in mind)
Has white fox ears and a tail. Her hair is also white and her eyes are a nice gold-flecked hazel. Usually hides them under things, like her tail under her clothes and her ears in her hair. Usually doesnt work well as they stick out a bit, but she tries her best.

Starting Location
Perell

Personality
ISTJ
She's super logical and thinks about things very rationally. She tries to work through things, but things like metaphors will go straight over her head. She feels super insecure and if someone says something that attacks one of them, intentional or not, she'll lash out. She'll either act sarcastic, cry, or look stone-faced and walk away. It's all an act though. Shes very much and introvert and avoids people as much as she can. If she had a quote it'd probably be something like "Some of us love what we are, some of us don't. Thats just how the world works, isn't it? I'd certainly want to be proud of what I am. But what reason do I have to like what I am?"

Backstory
I would, but I have no idea what I'd put

Likes
Animals
The rain
Strawberries

Dislikes
Most people
Super sweet foods
Loud noises
Hot weather

Fears
People finding out what she is. Shed rather hide everything and ignore it all than acknowledge it and be shunned, or worse.

Ambitions/Dreams
She wants to explore the world

Biggest Flaw
Shes super insecure. She sort of believes that everyone should shun her because shes a Fantastical Being, but at the same time she doesnt want to be left alone.

Other
Nothing atm

Looks good, accepted! Welcome ^^

I've given you the weakness of light sensitivity (bright lights or direct sunlight may hurt eyes/cause headaches, etc.), and also added more details about your abilities on your profile. Let me know if everything looks good :D

~~~
It's almost evening when you awake, having slept throughout most of the day, but judging by the weak light still managing to filter in from your window, it's only just begun to get dark. From outside drifts the characteristic bustle and chatter that gives life to Perell at almost every hour. In fact, the commotion doesn't usually diminish until much later (if it does at all), so you'll have to wait a few hours to go outside if you want to avoid the majority of it--or you could brave the crowds now to get a head start on whatever it is you wish to do tonight.
(Oop sorry Falcon-)
Livvy stops once she's close enough to converse within a reasonable distance. "I am." She affirms. "Just gonna see what there is to see though, mostly." She kind of hopes he won't ask to come along- that would be onw fun conversation trying to explain that she's off to see the wider world.
He visibly perks up at your answer, but fidgets nervously before speaking. "If... if it's not too much trouble for you, would you mind stopping by the apothecary on your way? My ma's fallen a bit ill, and I'm not allowed to go into town by myself. I'll... I'll give you the payment and all."
(When you try to leave but get harassed by little kids)
(Oh thank you, also, great that I chose the place with the 24 hour lantern. It looks good though!)
She watched the sun out of her window for a bit before finally deciding. Just going now would be better than trying to wait for the crowds to disappear. She wasn't quite ready to go just yet though, so to distract herself she looked around for anything else she might have missed.
(OH I forgot about that lmao, I suppose you could always sell it then xD Or you should be fine if you don't look directly at it since it's pretty small lol)
As you pace around your house, you find nothing in particular that you seem to have missed, as your few significant belongings have already been packed in your satchel, and there's not much else in your house that's necessary, worth notice, or needs to be taken care of before you leave.
At least the stalling has served its purpose, though: in the minutes you've been taking to distract yourself, the last of the sun has slipped away, and the sounds from outside seem to be beginning to dwindle ever so slightly. It seems to be the ideal time to depart--as long as you're feeling up to it now, of course.
(Haha, its fine! Shell just treat it like I treat lights when I get a migraine. Ignore it)
At least less people were going to be out now. The least interactions with others the better. She opened her door and stepped out, appreciating the cool night air.
(Fair enough xD)
As expected, the night's just a little chilly, a cool breeze gently stirring a couple of fallen leaves up around your feet as you step outside. Your house is some distance away from the town center, the gas lamp-lit road dim compared to the lights of the marketplace you can see further in the distance.
Outside, the sounds of the village reach your ears even more clearly--shouting, haggling, laughter, the clip-clop of hooves on cobblestone, the jingling of metal and the creaking of wood. Though the cacophony is dimming as the first stars appear on the horizon, it still seems to be a busy night in the center of the village. By now, though, the roads seem to be empty enough, with only a few lone figures passing by you on the street, some heading toward and others away from the center of town.
(By the way, is she currently trying to hide her ears/tail?)
(Yeah, she is.)
She took a calming breath as her mind tried to make her go back inside. She decided to go see what was going on in the town. It might be worth window shopping, even if she couldnt buy anything.
(Less weird light thingies ofc)
~~~

As you make your way toward the center of Perell, dodging the steadily increasing flow of people passing by you on the streets, the town comes into glaringly bright focus. Squinting against the light of the countless lamps hanging in windows and the streets, you head into the crowd.

Within moments, you're surrounded by people hurrying one way or another, some residents of Perell and others travelers passing through, as is evident from their somewhat disheveled appearances and hefty satchels. Most seem to be heading away from the center of town, either hurrying home or to an inn to spend the night. Several times, the jostling from the crowd threatens to reveal your ears and tail from where you've attempted to conceal them, but nobody spares you more than a passing glance--fortunately for you, such features aren't uncommon in Phenomenal beings, so you wouldn't look too out of the ordinary even if you weren't hiding them. Still, better to be safe than sorry.
While you walk, you pick up snippets of conversation from all around you: the usual town chatter, made ever more interesting by the rumors brought by those passing by from faraway lands.
"Have you heard the news? The mayor's son over in Delora was cursed--"
"The Line'll get word to him soon enough, no use worrying about it anymore--"
"--crafted in Hanne, the highest quality you'll find around--"
"--the merchants there have taken up selling protective amulets. A scam if I've ever heard one--"
"They say it's dangerous; the roads have been closed off for weeks and still no sign--"

The majority of the businesses, mostly buildings and a handful of roadside stalls, seem to be preparing to close, but some remain open for various reasons--travelers can arrive at any time, you're not the only nocturnal being in Perell, and of course the post office here never closes. The amount of inns outnumber the stores, but you pass by a stall displaying an impressive array deadly-looking weapons, a bakery selling extravagant (and probably ridiculously expensive) pastries, and what appears to be a bookstore with brightly colored flowers lining its windows, to name a few that catch your eye. However, the majority of businesses cater to travelers, selling simple food that doesn't spoil, medical supplies, tools such as axes and snares, and a few more expensive items like compasses and high-quality leather packs.

Suddenly, there's a shout and a clattering of hoofbeats as the crowd hurriedly parts to make way for a rider on a horse--no doubt one of the runners for the Albatross Line. Despite the late hour, the Line is famous for its efficiency, and that means having shifts of riders to carry messages one the way to their destinations at all times.
