Victor sighed, " Fine, I get yer point. I will just make sure she's scared o' me then. "

Alaska fell quiet. She wondered how, but she figured she would find out soon enough.

" So.. I wanted to ask.. how do you feel about me going back to my group for a day or two..? " He was ready for Alaska to be very mad.

"Well, let's see. The last time you left you were gone for way longer than promised, and we found a dead you which caused everyone grief and stress."

" Fine.. I won't be goin' anywhere. But still don't know what ya mean. I never died. Musta found an experiment.. "

She shuddered. "It's possible. And I don't want to stop you from doing something you want to do. But if youre going to go, you have to take me."

Victor sighed but was still smiling brightly. " Alright, I will happily take you with me if you promise me you will carry a gun and stay near me. "

"Yeah, okay. I can live with those terms."

" Oh and.. stay faaar away from some of the meaner people.. They might.. they aren't nice.. "

Alaska nodded. "I will definitely stay away from those people." Yeah, when hell freezes over.
