Rose held the child gently in her arms, the child was still crying in her arms as she gently rocked it back and forth humming softly and murmuring sweet words to calm the child down. " It's alright little one.. you are okay.. " Her voice held a motherly tone to it that was all too much familiar.

"As I said," Puck said softly. "Only a select few. And you are one of them."

Rose couldn't help but to smile at his words but avoided his gaze or even to look towards him. " I always have just had a little bit of a soft spot for kids.. " her words were quiet as to not awaken the now softly sleeping child that was resting calmly in her strong arms. " Besides.. Someone needs to be able to do this.. and I always wanted to be like my mom in the sense of being a home maker. I love kids.. and I like the idea of sitting at home with my children and having a loving husband who would spend time with me after a hard day of work. but that is just me, not many like that idea anymore.. "

"Being different isn't necessarily a bad thing. You don't have to follow what everyone else does or says or anything like that. Who cares what anyone else thinks, anyway? Let them judge. But if they saw the true intent of your heart...I'm sure they'd change their mind."

" A single person can't win a war.. and it isn't like I want to win in the first place.. I just want to live a long happy life. I never wanted any of this to happen. I never wanted to be a second girl to a guy who was still in love with someone else.. It just wasn't how imagined my life to go, and yet here I am keeping myself here and willing myself to go forward with this no matter how unfair and scary it is for me and many others.. "

"I can't tell if that's stubbornness or blind courage," Puck said jokingly. Then he turned serious. "At least you're still here. That's more than some people can say. And, just let me say, life is the scriptwriter. Not much that we can do bout it. And, hey," he said, gently nudging her sholder with his, "Your dream life might still come true. Hate to tell all the zombies out there, but they can't stick around forever."

Rose smiled softly at his words and blushed a light pink color. " You are so sweet, you know that? I haven't heard someone say it and mean it for a long while.. I do wish my dream comes true though. It isn't like I am asking too much for what I want.. right? Besides there has got to be a guy still alive out there that wants that kind of girl right? " Rose asked as her main focus was still turned onto the child in her arms, her expression soft as she watched the child with a certain kindness.

"Are you kidding me? Of course! And even if you don't find him right away, I'm sure you'll find him eventually. And sweet it one word for it..."

" Alright well.. I believe you with that.. I am just hoping that I am not too old to enjoy it once I find them.. " Rose had an idea and said, " Hey, do you want to hold this kid? "

"I honestly doubt you will be." He carefully took the child, tense. What if he dropped it? Or if he was sickens didn't know it and got the child sick? Or what if something else bad happened?
