(I'm about to go to my band playing at the football game anyway lol.)
Ellitt shook his head. "Animals do not wish to hurt me, Emily," he told you.

Every nerve in Malak's body tingled as he entered the room. It was the most mysterious place he had ever been in. The mirrors disoriented him slightly, and the misty made his bones shake. He knew what he had come for was right in front of him, but based as his experiences today, he knew that something clearly this magical probably had some sort of rudimentary consciousness of its own. There for he...
b.) Approach it
...cautiously took a few steps towards the center of the room and nearer to the large stone.

(Ah, I do not live in the same place as you. Also, I am a high schooler.)
Ellitt chuckled lightly. "All manners of creatures like me. I have bestial magic. It is my affinity as a pixie," he told you.

As you approach the stone, there seems to be some sort of force - the mist, perhaps - that was actually pushing you towards the stone. You felt your pulse beat with the force of the colors in the stone, and you felt a dull pain throughout your body. A dull pain, and a deep longing for the power within the stone.
What do you wish to do?
a) Touch it
b) Resist the force
c) Call out

This whole scenario had Malak completely on edge. He had no idea what he was dealing with,
no real idea how to accomplish his task, and now he was being confronted by a mystical force. Not a physical enemy that he could touch and attack with his weapon, but a fully magical and incorporeal threat. Part of him started urging him to leave, but on an impulse he reached into the folds of his clothing and brushed his finger against Elysetta's feather. She was counting on him.
As the magic force began to bring him ever closer to stone, he knew that he was about to face his hardest challenge. He did not resist, suddenly bolstered by his resolve to help the pixie woman. He reached out his hand...
a.) Touch it
...and placed it gently on the surface of the stone.

You touch the stone, and suddenly, everything goes black for a moment. When the world returns, the stone and mist have faded. In its place was a form you thought you'd never see again. A human wearing similar clothing to yours.
"You've strayed very far from our path, son," came the eerie whisper from your father's being.

Malak did his best not to jolt as his vision went dark. He kept his hand firmly on the surface of the stone. Then suddenly, he could see again, but there was no stone in front of him. At least, the stone was hard to make out as he was faced with the image of his father. His heart began pounding immediately and when his father spoke he flinched. How could his father be here? How could this be real? The answer of course was that it was not real, but that did not make Malak feel any better.
"My path is my own to make," he said, trying to keep his voice as firm as he possibly could and hold his head high.

"You are wrong," your father's icy voice spoke. "You know you are. Malak... You're running with pixies. You've left your betrothed behind. And what's worse is, you've just decided to risk your life helping a woman who will likely never appreciate it. And you don't even know why she could never be loyal to you," he chuckled.

As his father's voice sent chills down Malak's spine his resolve began to falter. He closed to his eyes and shook his head as though trying to dispel the illusion. It did not good, however, for his father's words struck him to his very core as they always had as a child. His innate sense of duty and honor made him tremble at the thought that his father spoke the truth. This was wrong, this was all wrong...
"No," he began, still fervently shaking his head, trying to maintain his fortitude, "I left behind a woman that would never care for me, that would look at me everyday with fear. I left because there was nothing left for me at home, and because I could not stomach another moment of your teachings."
