"Okay I guess." Grim Rose said running to grab a life orb to give to Mermydon. "Why do you even need it?" She asked tilting her head to the side. She sat down.

Metal followed slowly after her only to pounce on her. She growled and tossed him off. "But Grim?" Metal said. "Don't you love me?" Grim Rose spat angrily and stalked off. Metal followed quickly. "Grim come on I know you love me!" Metal said. Suddenly he was on the ground with Grim Rose leaning over him and growling.

"You were always a friend! Don't make me expose you to the world! Only me and your family know your true name Metal. I don't care for you at all!" Grim Rose said angrily but she suddenly faltered. Metal took control and kissed her. She didn't realize until it was too late. She froze shocked. Metal stopped and laughed.

"Not so bad was it Grim?" Metal said. "Plus you taste great." He smiled. Grim Rose stood up only to be light headed. Metal noticed but he didn't understand why she stumbled towards the water.

Amethyst lay in the stream and then she swam up the river. She laughed and pressed on. Suddenly she stopped. Amethyst heard something speaking further up the stream.

Anxious from being surrounded by so many strangers most of them fellow predators, Raka weighed his options. There was no question as to whether he would follow through on getting his information from the other kelpari but, he was not all to fond of how large of a group they were becoming. This was especially so due to the fact that, while submerged he could sense far more than normal via his lateral lines. In fact The moment he had entered the water he had felt something was off, and the feeling was only getting stronger with each new individual who entered within range of his senses.

A sudden and overwhelming wave of fear washed over him so strongly, that even those without the kelpari's advantageous sixth sense were instantly aware of it.

"To shore now!"
Without knowing exactly why he felt this way, Raka tried to convey the absolute urgency of what was about to occur. All he knew was that they were drawing the attention of something they did not want to trifle with.

Willing the others not to question his reasons he virtually projected his own panic to them with one last shout "Cant you sense it Mermydon, Aleria, Kanakwella! We are all in danger. To shore, NOW!"

Dhuka~female~Morkko

When the nixie landed on her she growled. "Do you mind?" She growled as she made her way back to shore. The water was too crowed for her likings she would just have to get food elsewhere. Once on shore she shook her coat clean making sure that she was dry enough not to get covered in dirt when she walked. Maybe she would wait on food, she still wanted to know where these souls where going.

Meara~female~Kelpiri

"Out of the water?" She had never been out of the water before. It seemed strange to her that anyone would want to leave the water in the first place. Sure it seemed stange to her that there were so many of them here at the moment but still. She looked back to what could only be the lead stallion with a kind smile. "I would be pleased to join you if you would have me that is."

Raka stood on the shore, staring with complete disbelief at the others who were looking at him with equally concerned expressions, though their concern seemed to be more for his mental state than for their own safety.

He looked pleadingly at his fellow kelpari"How can none of you sense it?" he looked away from the others out t the seemingly empty water in the centre of the lake.
"Please for your own safety, we don't have much longer!"

Amethyst swamp faster upstream only to crash into something. She cried out in alarm for what happened. She opened her eyes and saw the side of the river. She tried to keep on moving but she felt like she was weighed down.

The morkko's words were refracted off the water as he submerged, so he made a mental note to check what she had said. Kanakwella had been unresponsive to his question, but surfaced when Raka yelled out to them. The warning cry was not lost on the prince, he felt it, sensed it, but could not believe it. A terrible sensation a thing that had no feeling of it's own but summoned for only one purpose. To do the bidding of the one that summoned it. Not since that terrible day when Shaledon was destroyed had he sensed one, but now they would all be in for the fight of their lives.

((OOC: Picture withheld to prevent spoilers.))

While fear and trembling should have been his natural response, the spirit of vengeance filled Mermydon's bidding. But first he needed to make sure the others were safe and ready to repel the coming assault. So fast did he dash out of the surface that he literally took flight and circled. "Kelparie, stay in the water, trust your lateral lines and be ready to lay waste with everything you have!" Even from a distance, Amthyst and Meara could sense Mermydon's urgency. "Ryori's if you have anyway to use the shadows to protect you and assault from go now!.. "Raka, Heroine, Mare Morkko,.. Be ready to stand and fight!.."

"A Water Elemental!"

Even as Mermydon said it the water's edge started to pull into the lake and raise a form out of pure water, completely invisible to the kelparie's eyes in the water but not to the lateral lines. Even worse, this creature would start to draw all of the water sprites to it!

Frozen, Raka suddenly felt completely calm, or rather he felt blank. Numb. As the water around his hooves withdrew into the centre of the lake he felt some other presence slip into his own being.

Something fundamental in himself seemed to shift and, within moments the spirit which had seemed to possess him fell into place within his own self, as if it was a piece he had not realized he was missing.
His vision shifted, where moments before he had been unable to see anything the form of an unspeakable evil revealed itself to him.

Grim Rose glared at Metal but got ready for a fight. Amethyst was ready to fight but she didn't know why. Grim Rose didn't let Metal try and persuade her again but she knew he would stop at nothing to win her over. Metal looked over at Grim rose longing for her but he then snapped out of it. "If I have to fight it's for you." Metal whispers to Grim Rose. Amethyst swam upstream to find many other sylesti.

Dhuka~female~morkko

A smile spread over her face at the thought of a good fight. The only thing was that she couldn't see the enemy. How was she going to fight if she couldn't see the enemy. Perhaps if she let the water animals led her in this fight she would be able to follow them. That was a thought. Still though she stood at ready, teeth bared as she scanned her surroundings. She had to be ready for anything.

Meara~female~Kelpiri

The water around her drew back and she fought against its pull enough to stay close to the others. A fight? If he said so. She closed her eyes for a moment looking with her senses more than her eyes. There...before her stood the threat. Deep inside she wanted to give into the creature though she knew she had to fight it. She had to stand and fight.
