Rose smiled slightly and flirtatiously stated, " If you need help with.. anything.. just ask me." She said teasingly, not turning to face him.
Victor sighed with relief and hugged them both, Maria spoke up again. " Am I going to get a brother or sister? " She sounded extremely excited still.

Rose leaned slightly into his warm touch, " Well, I did say absolutely anything.. " She said with a slight smile, enjoying being this close to him again.
Maria smiled brightly and again gently hugged Alaska, she was just like Victor in the sense she was extra gentle. " Do.. do I need to do anything special to help you? " She asked, now thinking of her future siblings and her mother being safe.
