In china students used to eat paper to learn stuff better
Thats where it came from.
Some POW did that with thigns like phone number paper of fmaily just inc ase the enemy thoguht they were spies

"No, " I admit. "But I'll try."
"So... should I introduce myself or shout profanity at the guards first?"
"Not the front door, obviously... maybe the west exit?"
"Are you kidding? We can't be any farther from it, plus if there's a patrol, we're dead."
"The roof?"
"I don't suppose you have a good way to get off it."
"Back door? There's a chute thing, I think."
"Oh, I suppose they didn't think of that when they want to, ya know, stop people from escaping."
I glare at him. "Stop shooting me down!"
"I'm just trying to prevent us from literally getting shot down!"
"It's a doorknob... duh."
"I put the stars in the sky, you know that, right?"
"Say that to someone who thinks every star is a lost loved one."
Hayden shook his head. "Got there too late. He's already been murdered."
Aika's jaw dropped. "What? How?!"
"Um, violently?"
Blue frowned at him. "Next time, use hydrogen peroxide."

I have *several* favorite bits of diologe, but here's some highlights:
"His names Flick?" Solar nodded.
"And before you search him up, Flicks already erased himself from history."
"Before I go, I got you something." Flower handed Shale a single slice of bread.
"I appreciate the thought, but I cant eat. "
.Catalyst wanted to smack her head into the table. Of course, she would have to deal with that neurotic fossil.
There was a stain of something, and also a single human tooth taped to the paper. Catalyst dropped the note, disgusted by the gift. Or a threat? She'd ask Solar.
a few of the ones I could find while browsing my work. there's a whole tangent about one of the character's super-roomba getting loose, but it uses the canon name for rombas in warframe.

"We do not speak of that, child." from an angry "centaur". It's hilarious because he doesn't pull rank (so to speak) on humans often, but this one was making comments about his anatomy, so he pulled rank.
