Malak followed Elysetta through the forest. There was not much conversation, which suited him fine. He was much more interested in thinking about the situation he had found himself in. It certainly was very different than his life up to this point. When they stopped and Elysetta pointed out where the pixie home was,
Malak got a little nervous again, though he tries not to show it.
"Wings?" he asked skeptically, raising an eyebrow in her direction, "Well, I suppose that makes the most sense. I'm not sure how I would get up there without them."

Elysetta nodded, and took a deep breath, seemingly steadying herself. She held her hands out in front of her, and after a moment, they began to glow emerald green. There was concentration on her face, and after a few more moments, you became suddenly aware of two more limbs sprouting from your back. The wings were feathered, as hers were, and a beautiful deep sunset orange color. When you looked back to Elysetta, though, some of the color seemed to have drain from her face. Five of her feathers were lying on the ground, where there had been none a minute ago. She wobbled slightly.

Instinctively closing his eyes, Malak felt nothing more than a warming sensation as Elysetta performed her magic. There was brief pressure in his shoulder blade region, and when he opened his eyes he could see the tips of his newly formed wings in his peripheral vision. It was an unusual sight, but for some reason it made him smile. He turned to look at Elysetta, ready to tell her how incredible the wings were, when he saw how pale and unsteady she was.
"Woah," he said, reaching out a hand to steady her, his brow furrowed with concern, "You didn't tell me that would harm you?" He gave the pile of feathers on the ground a distraught glance.

A slight grin slowly spread across Elysetta's face. "No, I suppose I didn't, did I?" she mused. "I don't mind. If this works... I will be forever in your debt," she dipped her head in gratefulness. "Ready to be shrunk down?" she asked.

Malak was shocked to find himself so concerned about Elysetta. Yes, he had already acknowledged that he felt a connection to this woman, that it was no mere coincidence they had stumbled upon one another, but to feel his heart pounding so hard against his chest as he thought about what the use of her magic had done to her, it was alarming to realize just how effected by her he was becoming.
"You are a very strange woman," he said, shaking his head in disbelief at her attitude about it, "But I suppose I'm as ready as I'll ever be. If this doesn't succeed your feathers will all fall regardless."

"That's a lovely attitude about it," she told you with a mocking smirk. Then, she positioned herself in front of you and held out her hands again. They glowed, and then suddenly, Elysetta became very big. You were now the size of an insect. What do you wish to do?

b) Attempt to fly
c) Leave
d) Bite her toe
e) Sneak under her dress.

Malak wasn't sure what to expect upon being shrunk. Suddenly ground seemed incredibly vast,
and Elysetta...oh my Elysetta looked very large indeed. For some reason this embarrassed him, and he was very glad for his small size as it was even less likely for her see him blush. Looking around him, he decided that he would...

You fluttered your wings and attempted to fly, but you found that it was very hard to control, and you almost ran into a tree. What do you want to do?
