Mason chuckled, but that only caused him pain. He took a deep breath, forcing himself onwards. Mason warily walked up the steps, making a noticeable forced smile.

At the door, was a cold cruel looking man... Identical to Mr. Manitoba except for his complexion, and his white hair rather then Mr. Manitobas sleek black. " Who are you!? " He barked angrily.

Akira yelped in surprise and tripped backwards into Mason.

He stepped infront of Nicolas, looking down at the man. "We are three of the children your brother adopted, I believe." , Mason said stiffly. "My name is Mason, and these are my companions, Nicolas, and Akira." He held out a hand to the old man, starring him in the eyes.

When Crimson caught sight and ears of the mean man at the door she was shocked."Well....i guess that's a hag." she muttered preparing to turn on her heels

Liam waved shyly at the girl. Siblings. The word felt so strange...and he almost hated it. Maybe he would have liked it a bit more if he hadn't known what would happen. But it was safe for now. Smiling, he walked by Mr Manitoba's side. "Anything I can do to help?"

Elliott watched them. He seemed decent. The house was grand. He had a real family. Maybe everything would turn out okay. She glanced at Liam. There was something odd about this boy...how he looked at them, and how defensive his posture was. She'd have to figure it out when she had the chance.

The man growled a little and shook Masons hand. " That stupid brother of mine should stop taking in worthless brats. " He hissed slightly.

"Excuse me?!" yelled Akio. "Who are you calling a worthless brat?!"
He was more angry at the man calling Akira that more than him. He didn't really care what he was called, but if someone insulted his sister, then they would pay dearly.
Akira elbowed him to shut up with wide eyes.

" Yes Liam, could you make sure dinner is already set? " Mr. Manitoba said politely, not noting his brothers behavior just yet.
