Alaska just stared at it in amazement...She couldn't believe it, but here she was, in front of it. She just about opened the door before she said, "Do you think there are any zombies in there?"
Victoria followed right behind her, searching for anything that could be useful

( Can we find Alaska's dad as a Zombie? Along with a note to her that finally says he was proud of her.... )
" Maybe, it could be just the stuff. "
Rose started to search, finding almost nothing useful.. but a pharmacy with a still locked door..

(Yes!! She's gonna break down...)
"Well we're gonna take the risk. We have to." She opened the door...
When Victoria didn't find anything useful either, she went over to the locked pharmacy door. "Do you know how to pick locks?"

Alaska followed Victor's gaze, spotting her dad as a zombie. Her voice wavered but only for a split second as she said in a hoarse voice, "Dad...?"
Victoria nodded. "If you can't, I'll have a go."

" 'Laska.. we have to.. kill him. I can do it for ya, I don't want ya to get even more hurt by it.. seein' 'em like this should be 'nough for ya.. " Victor's accent was coming on stronger then usual, seemingly from pain. Another grandparent his child wouldn't meet.. and Alaska lost her own father now..
Rose gave it a try, but after 10 minutes of failing gave up.

Alaska put a pained smile on her face. She cleared her throat and said, "No, Victor. You shouldn't have to fight my battles for me. I have to do this," she said, getting her bat out. She was pleased that her voice didn't break
"Here, I'll see if I can do it now." Victoria attempted to unlock the door

Victor put a hand on Alaska's shoulder and said as softly as he could, " He won't hate ya for it darlin'... He'll forgive ya for it in an instant. " He let her go, knowing this must be hard for her though he stayed close.
Rose watched, hoping they could get the door unlocked.

Alaska ignored him. Her hands shook as she hesitated for a moment, second thinking herself and her decision. She pushed the thought away and brought her bat down on her zombie father
Victoria continued to try, also hoping she would get it open

The zombie died instantly, falling to the ground in a heap. Victor took off his hat and put it to his chest in respect, saying a silent prayer.
" We can try to kick it open? "
