"You will know if someone is Charred by looking into their eyes. If their eyes are bright, and they do not have wings, then that means they are either a Vithaem or an Elf. Vithaems were born without wings and magic and they are generally friendly. Elves don't have wings, but they can still fly. Elves may not be friendly at first, but if you manage to get one to trust you, the you will gain a loyal companion. But if you meet someone who does not have wings, and they have dull and lifeless eyes, or if their pupils or irises are dilated, then they either a zombie, or they are Charred. Zombies, I'm sure you've heard of. Same nasty things. But Charred beings are pretty much lifeless. They are puppets, usually controlled by someone who has bad intentions," she explains, looking at you intensely. "So when you go search for the Seer... be careful."

The Aurleon flies away, but not before it wraps its large wings around you and Eclipse. It nuzzles Thydial, before finally taking off. It looks back at you for just a moment... before flying away. Thydial sighs. "Alright, then. Do you want to know more about the Plyght now?"
