"Welcome, brave traveler, to this forgotten realm," says a voice behind you. You whip around and find a young girl staring at you calmly. "My name is Thydial. You may take 1 Sylesti and a weapon with you on your journey into the unknown. I will lead you from these fields, and then you are on your own. Oh, and the weapons you can choose from are a dagger/knife, sword, bow and arrow (10 arrows), whip, and a slingshot (10 stones). I will provide you with 7 treats. You are unable to starve or die of thirst here, but there are many other ways to die."
You think that she sounds a bit too cheerful at the last part, but you keep silent.

1. Ping me!
2. Don't godmod; you cannot say 'I notice a carrot stuck in the tree and pry it out' if I never mentioned a carrot being stuck in a tree. You can, however, say 'I search the tree, hoping to find a carrot stuck in it,' although I don't know why you'd think there would be a carrot in a tree :P
3. Do not act overpowered. For example, if you are surrounded, you cannot just say 'I kill them all and escape.' But you can say 'I try to kill them to escape.'
4. In your reply, please give me something to build off of (at least one semi-descriptive sentence). Also, try to have decent, readable grammar and include a quote from your character in the 'Other' section.
5. Yes, you can die, but only if you make a lot of terrible decisions. So use some common sense :P
6 Do NOT read ahead if you just joined. If I find anyone doing this, they may receive a permanent ban from this. This is not to be mean; I would just like to make this game fair and fun for everyone.
7. If you do not reply in 2 weeks, you will automatically be deemed missing or dead, and the next person on the Waiting Liszt will take your place. I will give you a couple of reminders, in case you just forgot ^^
8. Please quote/bold/italic/etc my last reply to you; this helps me keep track of where you are since my replies are going to be pretty slow.
9. The pet that you use has to be one that you own; this is because I will need to use the stats in the storyline (how high the stats are don't matter, all I'll be looking at are the highest and lowest stats of the pet).
