I stare at the Ryori sympathetically. I know it might be dangerous to approach a wound sylesti, they could feel threatened and lash out but...
I sigh, it's just not in my nature to leave a sylesti in need. Gathering my courage I start to slowly approach the hatchling. Lifting my hands to show I mean no harm, and trying to be as non-threatening as possible.

The Ryori whimpered pitifully. One of its paws was trapped under a bramble, and it was bleeding a little bit. It looked at you with wide eyes.
You realize that Ryori are smart, and it may be a trap to lure you closer, but it is also possible that the Ryori isn't faking and genuinely needs help.
What will you do now?

I hesitate for just a second before signaling for Odette to help me lift the bramble off the Ryori's paw. Even if it was a trap to attack them. It's two to one, what harm could it do?

You successfully lift the bramble off of its paw, and the Ryori limps up to you and sniffs you. Upon deciding that you aren't dangerous, it floats into your arms.
Thydial hands you a stone. "Use this to teleport Sylesties you tame here, to your stables." You thank her and the two of you continue you journey, with Lady Odette trotting beside you.
You soon see a ditch in the grass. It looks abandoned, but it is hard to tell.
Inspect it or go around it?

I quickly wrap up the Ryori's paw in some leaves to stop the bleeding, before teleporting him to my stables.
I look at the ditch closely trying to see any clear signs of abandonment. After staring a little bit I turn to Lady Odette and ask if she could use her nose to sniff out there's any danger near by. I don't want to approach if their's a chance it's not abandoned.
( Did I use up one of my treats? And do you mean a ditch as in the kind on the side of the road? )
