Cole decided that for once his obnoxsious height was a good thing.

It meant he could loon down on someone.

Cole sauntered over to Nicote. "What, so now you acknowledge me?" He teased.

Nicote just rolled his eyes at him. "I was acknowledging you before "

Luka glanced over at Soren and Settled down seeing all the newbs getting cozy and ruffed up a bit " Gonna go make some new friends?" she asked curiously before adding her own smart tail remark " I mean come on a sweet fella like yourself should be out socializing not cooped up in a cave with a cat" she added with a chuckle

I sighed and pushed myself up from the corner, brushing dust from my hands onto my clothes. "Thats your brother I hear..." I mumbled. People here swore but Nicote Marker must have set the record, he had a particular sound too. Most people around here knew of him, he fixed anything you want, or I thought anyway.

I'd never involved myself with any of that, but I assumed Nicote was a good tradesmen.

I walked out of the cell, now that the doors were open, my feet tap-tap-tapping on the cold earth. I remembered when I arrived at the Furnace.

The guards opening everyones doors, enjoying the show as the hyenas poured out to assess the new meat with sinister grins.

I got picked on the most. I didn't do nothing and that was a worse thing to do. They either assumed I was weak and easy to pick on, or I thought I was superior and wanted to knock me down from my high horse.

I really thought neither, but it didn't matter. I spent the next month black and blue.

I dragged my arm across the cold concrete cells, my hands making noise across the bars. The poor souls that couldn't bring themselves out of the cells flinched at the noise.

I stopped at the end of the row, watching the people around me pour into the crowd like a stream going to the ocean. Someone bumped into me purposely.

"Watch it Short Stuff. You wanna go huh? You still not had enough huh?" I glared at the guy next to me.

He was built like a rock wall, rough and solid.

Well I hadn't been hit by anyone but the guard in a month or two, I'd learned how to stand up for myself and scare most of the big boys away.

"Last time I checked your one of the Skulls favorite targets. And I know of your little skirmish with that guard down the hall." I said coldly.
