Maveric watched as Lani exhaled for the last time. He just stood, not saying anything and made sure to push past Gerard. Victoria held back a sob. She couldn't take this, so she ran off. Alaska went after her, easily catching up when they were about a hundred yards away. They were talking, but what they were saying wasn't able to be heard

Rose glared at Gerard and went after Maveric, now feeling horrible for what she had been doing to him. She wanted to help him a little bit. Vic stood up and practically beat Gerard into submission after that, " Your sleeping outside tonight do you understand me! " His voice boomed.

Maveric went to comfort Victoria, putting his own feelings on hold. He just sat by Victoria, not saying anything. He knew she just liked someone being there, and she did. She was still crying but was glad to know that at least someone still cared for her. Maveric's eyes were trained on the floor, trying not to think of his sister. First, he had lost his brother, and now he had lost his sister, too...

Rose decided to comfort Maveric later, and just went over to Victor who just told her to dig a grave... and get him another bullet. " Vic, why do you need another bullet? " Victor sighed. " Gonna need to shoot her in the head.. We don't need another zombie. "

Maveric continued to remain silent. When Victoria had finally calmed down, he left. Victoria was depressed now, already missing Lani. She stared at the door after Maveric left, just hoping that it was all a horrible nightmare and that Lani would stride right in at any second

Rose finished with what she had to do and went after Maveric. Gerard was outside, on his knees in a praying pose. Victor said he wasn't allowed to move till the morning.

Maveric was in his room, sitting on his bed with his head in his hands. It just seemed like everything that could possibly go wrong was going wrong. He wasn't crying, but he knew that he wasn't going to be able to be getting any sleep for the next week at least
