Jake grabbed hold of one of the smaller gang members legs and yanked on it as hard as he could. Even if it didnt cause them to fall over, it would cause a distraction and let Nicote actually do something, rather than making what he considered empty threats. He was actually pretty strong for someone of his height.
Andy bit his lip and resisted the urge to shout DONT BE AN IDIOT!! at Jake.

Jake was looking at the fallen boy with a strange sense of... joy. Almost like their pain satisfied him. He was grinning like and idiot and was ready to beat up whoever came to him next. He didnt hear Ver. Or see Nicotes expression.

Cole winced but still kept grinning whe Nicote reakred on that-he remmeber Emas well-placed kick like it was yesterday.
