"I technically didn't. First, me, Lani and Victor were crowded in a small apartment. We decided that we needed somewhere safer and went out and found this place. We had to battle a few zombies, of course, but we killed all of them and cleaned the place up a little and went out to find food."

"Maybe not what you said, but surely you could've done something, right? I mean...why didn't you just have Gerard go in and kill all of them or something?" Alaska was still kind of glad it happened, though. If it hadn't, she probably never woulda met Victor and Maria

" Interesting, I am glad he kept you safe.. "

" Oh sure, let me have one of my men kill a ton of rich important people while I am not there and with cameras everywhere so it can be traced back to me. " Victor said, his voice oozing sarcasm. " I could, and it would of costed my life and at that time, he.. well technically he told me about you and.. " He paused in thought and said " our daughter "

"Excuse me? He kept me safe? No. I do believe it was the other way around."

Alaska pulled her knees to her chest. "He...told you about me? What'd he say?" She figured it was nothing good, as that was something he would do.

" Oh.. Sorry. I thought you would be too focused on trying to do other stuff so.. "

Victor saw this and he quickly put his arm around her, holding her tight. " Well he had told me he had a girlfriend and child, he said that you were a horrid person who would often hurt the child but since he loved you, he kept you around.. He never gave names, but I assume.. "

"Like what other stuff?" Maveric asked, raising an eyebrow

"For the record, I never ever hurt Maria. He did. Is that why you saved her? Because you thought that I was hurting her?" Alaska asked

" Fix things, try to make contact with others or cure the zombies. "

" I didn't know it was you, but no. I didn't plan on saving her at all really, I just found her in a back alley half dead. I didn't even know it was your daughter, and I know you never hurt her darlin' ya woulda never been able to if ya had tried. "

"I...actually haven't thought about the cure for zombies. You know why? Because the zombies are kind of...well, dead."

"Yeah, I probably never would've been able to, even if I wanted to. Which I never will. I'm glad you saved her, though. I really considered her dead after he just...threw her out..."

" Still, I thought you might of. "

" I am glad I saved her too, I wouldn't of had the heart not to anyhow.. " Victor then said as he held Alaska tighter, " That won't be happenin' to our children. "

He shook his head. "Nope."

"That's good. I'm glad they'll have us."

" Whatever you did or didn't do I am glad you are alright and alive. "

" I am too darlin' I am very glad. I can't wait to hold them in my arms. " He said softly, his voice almost a cooing tone.
