"Good," he said, nuzzling her neck

Alaska pursed her lips. The only thing she knew when that happened was when someone's lungs collapsed. She ignored the little voice inside of her head telling her that he wasn't going to make it, that she should just leave him. "Shh...don't waste your energy on speaking." She bandaged the last bullet hole, her clothes a mess.

"Hm?" Victoria asked, looking up from her soup. She hadn't eaten much, she had just swirled it around her bowl. "Oh, my name's Victoria."

She stayed silent, just enjoying being near him.

Victor whipped the blood off of his hand, now laying his arm around Alaska and gently holding her close. The beating of his heart was slow, his breathing shallow. He did not say another word he just cuddled into Alaska, ensuring she would stay warm going so far as to remove his coat and put it around her.

" A lovely name, I am Gerard. "

Maveric didn't bother trying to break the silence, just held her close.

Alaska shook her head. "No, you need this." She put it back around him, enjoying what might be her last moments with him. She snuggled with him and whispered, "...I love you..." She pretends that she didn't just say that

She nodded. "Cool. So...where did you come from?"

Ava's head rested gently on his chest, the sound of his heart beating soothing her,

Victor didn't react much but he did very weakly reply with a small, " I love....you..too. " His arm went limp seconds later, and slid off her body, his head going back and hitting the wall behind them. He was alive, but barely there. He was truly dying.

" Born and raised here. "

He rested his chin on the top of her head, gently rocking back and forth

Alaska swallowed hard, her throat getting dry. She cradled his head in her lap, hoping that the blow to his head from the wall didn't do anything for the worse. She stroked his head, running her hand through his hair. She didn't say anything else.

Victoria nodded, not sure what to say next.

" I love you Maveric.. " Ava whispered to him.

Victor stayed like that till the sun was high in the air, and soon his heart beat became stronger, his breathing a tiny bit stronger then before.. but clearly he wouldn't be up anytime soon.

" And what about you? "

"Love you too, Ava."

Alaska was glad that he was recovering

"Me and my twin are from out of town."

Victor shifted slightly, mumbling something too quiet to be heard.

" Ah, I see. That high stung lady your sister? "

(Gotta make up for my super short one so here goes:)

"Love you most end of conversation. I win," he said, chuckling softly. "My little sister used to say that any time we talked. I'm glad she's over it."

Alaska almost jumped to her feet, but didn't. "Can you say that again?" She hoped he would, and she listened intently. She whispered comforting things to him, stopping and listening when she thought he said something. When she found it was a false alarm, she continued whispering in a soft voice.

"Alaska?" Vicky asked. She sighed and said: "Yeup. That's her." She didn't say anything about loving her or glad that she was her sister.

" Aww no fair.. " Ava pouted, but then smiled. " How is Lani anyway? "

When Victor spoke, it was quieter then a whisper weak and frail but there. " I can hear there hearts.. " His hand moved over the side of her stomach before slowly going back to the ground again. His eyes remained closed, and his expression vacant but he was at the very least alive. He attemped to move a little, but just made a small pained noise from trying.

" That lass is an interesting one, ain't she? "
