"What?" Alaska said, raising her eyebrows at Victor. "He's coming with? Of all the people you chose to bring with us, you chose him?" She then muttered under her breath, "I'd rather take a zombie back with us." Then Victor's last sentence hit her. She thought that Rose and Maveric were together...maybe they were just friends?

"Salt in the wound. Yet I have nothing against you," Maveric said

" He is a giant Alaska.. if he can deal with the zombies you can relax, and hey I could of brought worse along with me. I could of asked Gerard about Skull crusher. No one likes him. " Gerard nodded. " Got that right, sudden death. "

" Well.. nothing except that hard on you are getting. "

"What if I don't want him dealing with zombies for me?" She felt like she was getting degraded, and she did not like that feeling. "And are you sure we can trust him?" she asked, fully aware that Gerard was still with them. "Like, I know you've known him for...however long, but still. People change."

Maveric bit his lip. "Yup. That's true," he said, trying not to smirk

" Alaska, if it weren't for me he would be dead. The chances I can't trust him are slim. He would kiss my toes if I so asked. Hell, he'd do anything I asked on a whim. " Victor said confidently. " Also Alaska.. " He said in a whisper. " You kind of.. can't fight right now.. I know you are strong, but.. unborn children aren't so resistant. " He said in a shaky voice, whispering this as to ensure that Alaska knew Gerard would not know of this.

" Someone's little friend missed me.. Didn't he? " She said, running her hand over his pants.

Alaska nodded and sighed, annoyed. "Fine, but if he sets the base on fire and kills just about everyone or does anything like that, you can't say that I didn't warn you." Alaska was pouting a little, still not liking the idea of bringing Gerard back to the base. Victor might've trusted him, but she didn't. She trusted him just about as far as she could throw him.

Maveric chuckled. "Yeah, missed you a lot," he said, backing her up against the outside wall of the police station

" Alright Alaska and when he starts to treat you like royalty I will happily wait for you to say you were wrong. "

Ava smirked and pulled him into a rough, deep kiss.

"If he never came within one foot of me ever again it would be way too soon. And I don't need to be treated like royalty, I can do things by myself."

Maveric returned the kiss, slipping a hand under her shirt

" I know, but he doesn't treat royalty like ' oh your highness '. I was a street rat.. he is like me. We like playing dirty. " Gerard piped up at that. " I liked killing, you liked being a ladys man. You had 20 girls at the same time.. 20! And I am the dog. " Victor gulped nervously.

( Ooooh Alaska will be mad. )

Ava shuddered at the touch, but not in a bad way. She veyr much enjoyed this.

Alaska stopped walking, staring at Victor. "What? I thought we were done keeping secrets! I should've known after you slept with my sister!" Alaska just glared at Victor, her lips tight in annoyance. Before he could even try to explain himself, Alaska stormed ahead, running back towards the base, or so she thought was the direction of the base.

(What if Alaska got lost...?)

Maveric noticed and that spurred him on, his other hand slipping into her jeans

" Gerard I am going to kill you when we get to the base.. " Victor said in a slight snarl, very angry at him. Gerard knew he messed up, and he messed up bad. Victor didn't go after Alaska, thinking he would make it worse.

She reacted with a slight moan, but saying nothing.
