Alaska spotted the door, too, and headed towards it, ready to just be back at the base and take a nap

Maveric smiled happily and muttered, "I really did miss this..."

Victor just followed calmly, slowly starting to feel like someone was nearby.

" I sure bet you did.. "

Alaska didn't feel what Victor did. Probably because she was ignoring everything else. For some reason, Alaska started to hiccup. She cursed her allergies.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Mav asked, looking at her with a raised eyebrow

Victor paused when he saw a mark on the door, and pulled Alaska to a stop. " Wait! Don't open that there door darlin'. See that skull? It means someone I know is here.. Lemme just.. " He knocked on the door in a specific way. " State you name. " A manly, steely voice called. " Sudden death, now open up you hound. " The door opened, and a man bigger then Victor stood there.

" I know you would miss all of this~ " She teased.

Alaska stood back, trying to wrap her head around what was happening. About thirty seconds after the door opened she finally registered that someone was there. She had to tilt her head up to see the top of the man. "Um...Victor? Who's this?" The man came off as threatening to her. Her eyes had widened a fraction. The man towered over her, as she wasn't very tall. She was only about five foot three.

"You know me too well," he said, smirking at her.

" Whose the vixen? " Asked the man, smiling. Victor rolled his eyes. " Meet my Fiancee, Alaska. She is off limits.. Alaska, this was my fighting buddy Gerard. " The heavily tattooed man nodded to Alaska, but his eyes were colder then ice, not in an unfriendly way, but in an unsure way. " She ain't using you is she boss? " Gerard asked suddenly, in a very threatening tone while glaring at Alaska.

" I know I do. ' She said back, a playful look in her eyes.

Alaska sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. He definitely was not on her good side. "How about," Alaska said, "you never doubt me ever again, or else I will show you how to fight." Alaska realized that she probably didn't come off as threatening at the moment, but she had a bat and she wasn't afraid to use it

"Same old back talk, huh?" Maveric asked, only mostly joking

Gerard smiled, and bellowed out in laughter. Victor smiled a worried smile, knowing Alaska probably wasn't kidding. She could probably beat him, and he was much taller then her. " Gerard.. You can trust 'er she isn't like Eve or May. She ain't 'ere to use me. " Gerard was still dying laughing. " You sure like picking the mean ones don't you? "

" You know you love it. '

"I'm not mean, I just don't like to be placed in a category. Like 'mean,'" she spat. "So if you don't mind," she said, glaring up at Gerard, "Me and Victor have to get going."

"You got me there, Princess," Maveric said.

Victor put his arm around Alaska, but said. " Come on Gerard.. Rose would be over joyed to see you. " And with that Gerard became completely silent.

" Good, I always get you~ " She again sounded playful
