Victor got up, leaning on the wall slightly. " Ah probably shouldn't a gone into the morge.. "

Maveric nodded. "Yeah, I almost...nevermind." He almost said that he wished this whole thing had never happened

" I did figure out when this all started, the very start of it was actually a year ago.. "

She sighed, " Well.. things will get better "

" So, where have you been hiding out? "

Alaska shook her head. It had felt like way longer than that but at the same time it felt like it had only been a couple of days

"In this here police station. What about you?"

" It is so messed up.. "

" In an old bakery about a mile from here. "

Alaska nodded her agreement. "Yeah, I wish everything could just go back to normal already."

"Lemme guess, it was totally empty of food?"

Victor sighed and nodded, standing up strait and putting his arm around Alaska protectively. " Yeah well.. it might not be Any time soon.. "
