Victor nodded, " Are you thirsty? You were coughin' a bit in your sleep... "

"Kind of," she said, blinking hard, seeing if that worked. It helped a little, but not much.

Victor decided to just blow out the candle he had lit in the room to see if it would help at all. " How are ya feelin'? "

"My shoulder aches, but it doesn't hurt too much." The candle being blown out helped immensely. She could see without squinting.

" I was the one who hurt ya... I wasn't able to aim too good so I hit you in the shoulder with a bullet.. :

Alaska laughed. "I know. I saw you so tired you were basically drunk. The good thing is that I'm still alive. At least you didn't hit me in the head or heart."

Victor looked very frightened by that, " Oh god... I would of never forgiven myself if I did that to ya.. " He said, voice shaking. " I promise I won't hurt you again.. I promise.. "

"It's fine. It could've been worse, but it's not. You have no reason to worry, I promise." Alaska smiled and rolled her eyes. She wasn't usually so optimistic.

Victor blamed on how she was acting because of blood loss and mood swings. He just smiled and kissed her cheek, glad she was okay. " I am glad you are okay.. "
