It has a mixture of oak, and sycamore trees.

I decide to head to the village. Seen as it's next to the lake where the water dragons dwell, I assume that the village people will be used to the presence of dragons.

"Behave yourself, Branch," I say. "You want to make a good first impression as much as I do, right?"

She looked back to him, What do I have to do?

How do you want to get to it? you could go around the lake which would likely take you until well into nighttime or you can try and come up with another way across

Sitting uncomfortably hasn't bothered me before. I scramble up Branch's scaled back and sit between his wings, making sure none of my limbs are hindering his flying. I pat his shoulder reassuringly, excitement bubbling up inside me. "Fly," I say, barely a whisper.

You make it to the lake at around noon, you can see what looks like a village on the opposite shore and an oak forest spreading along the left side of the lake.

He spreads his wings out and flaps them, once, twice and you shoot up into the air. The both of you are unused to having a rider and riding so you take it slow, but the wind rushes through your hair as you fly over the lake. He fly's low to the water so occasionally your feet brush the lakes surface. Finally you make it to the other side

He seemed to take the hint and moved forward to where the foot was tapped

"Good boy" she said, giving him a rub on the head. She then touched his chest and made a "brrup" sound, applying pressure to suggest reversing
