Maveric swore under his breath. He went to the entrance with Victoria right behind him, trying not to think about her baby. Maveric told Lani to go get a shirt from his room and she did. When she brought it back, he tore it up into strips. He pushed her sleeve up and took off her current bandages.

Victor followed close behind, very worried for Alaska. He prayed she would be alright, he would tell her it was his fault when she was okay... she would be okay right? She had to be okay, she just had to be!

He handed the strips to Lani who discarded them. He muttered something to Lani, who went and got a pair of tweezers. He put them in the wound, closing one eye. He tried to get the bullet, but the tweezers were much too small. He swore under his breath again

Victor handed Maveric the tweezers he had used to remove his own bullet, hoping it would help.

He took them, muttering a thank you. He slowly and carefully removed the bullet. Lani handed a salve that would make sure that the area didn't get infected. He gently applied it and then bandaged the wound

Victor watched carefully, he knew Alaska was in good hands but he just was worried dearly for her. When they had finished, he said quietly, " Should I carry her to her room? "

"Sure, but somebody needs to keep an eye on her, change the bandages every so often."

" I'll stay with her, " Victor offered with a gentle tone as usual, being as careful as possible when he picked up Alaska. " That way I can make sure I fix what I did wrong. " He carried Alaska to her room, laying her on her bad gently
