Storm nodded. "Isn't that the same for all of us? Everyone is destined to die. If not in the Game, it's because of some other cause." She said quietly, and fiddled with her piece of chalk again. It wasn't like she had much else to fiddle with. "Sorry, I'm sounding awfully dark right now." She tried to amend.

I shrug. "Would you rather go out quietly and unknown, like a dying candle, or with a bang, but at the mercy of someone else?"

Storm thought about that for a few moments. "I don't know. I think I have everyone I want to know me if I die. My mom, dad, brother, older sister, and two dogs...but then if I go out with a bang, everyone will know me, and I won't know how that will affect my family." She was quiet for another minute. "I think I would prefer to die out of the way, I guess. I don't want to put anyone else in danger."

"I would prefer to live my life to the fullest before I die. But I would not want it to be at the Capitol's mercy." I lower my voice for the last sentence, just in case.

Storm nodded. "I agree with that." She said. The piece of chalk flew out of her hands as the train suddenly lurched to the side, and ultimately fell over onto its right side.
"Yipes!" Storm said, scrabbling for a purchase. "Everyone okay?" she asked, perching lightly on a table that had flipped upside down.

I easily regain my balance. "Thought this was supposed to be smooth."
(My guess is that Orca's OC isn't doing so well xD)

Storm nodded slowly. "I thought so too. Wonder what could have-"
"Everyone put their hands in the air!" Storm slowly turned around to find someone with a mask covering their face pointing a gun at her.
"Um, okay? Are you a Rebel?" Storm asked, putting her hands up. "Also, can I look for my piece of chalk? I need to make sure it's... hey, don't step on it!" Storm shrieked as the person walked forward, surely unintentionally crushing the piece to powder.

I raise my hands and fight a giggle despite the situation. Then I wince, remembering what the chalk meant.

The person looked down. "Oh, sorry. Didn't mean to do that. Um, but yeah. Rebels are taking this over. We're trying to get the Hunger Games to not play this year. At least we'll try..." They looked at you and Storm. "Wait, why am I telling you this?"
"Cause you stepped on my token. My brother gave that to me. And if you don't know how rare a piece is...go inside a classroom." Storm muttered darkly. The person only shook their head.
Others ran inside, and went to the rest of the train.
"Anywho, you're supposed to come with me. us. whatever." The person said, motioning them to follow.

(Sigh. Prob last post tiday. Will be ofd and on all week.)

Nicote just glowered st the duo. And started messing wih a randim spike in his earring. Wy earrings? He was weird like that.
