The stallion's head was starting to swim with all of this information. He heard Heroine clearly, but rather than try to figure out something as complicated as a zolnixi / kelparie family tie he opted to take what she had told him to try and calm the situation about it.
He whispered back, "Since the both of you are kin, you can do me a favor by helping her to understand the mess the two of you seem to have gotten yourselves into. And I would take it as a personal kindness if you know anything prophetic about what's going on that you please keep it to yourself and let your cousin find sure hoofing again."
He had hoped that would start to reign things in so that he could turn his attention to Aleria. She was upset about something and he only guessed that it may have to do with the fact that he hadn't told her more about himself when they met. He stepped away from Kanakwella and Heroin towards Aleria and faced her for a one-to-one conversation.
"Whatever I have done to lose your trust in our alliance Aleria, I am sorry. I'm sorry that I did not address my station to you, but what good is being a prince when you have no realm or nation to lead into the future? Where can a stallion find his destiny alone in a dead kingdom? Like you and Kanakwella, I have none of my own to care for or school with. All we have is each other and that's more than I had when I went to sleep. I'm willing to bet you feel the same way." He quickly addressed her issue. "I don't think Hallenjax is an option we have, Unless there is some way to fly the three of us to the top of that cascade we are cut off. My ancestors chose this place for that very reason. So the only way to go is southeast towards the desert if you wish to go somewhere?"

"Its not that it would have made a difference.. But you Myrmydon have a past and a future more likely than myne others from your kingdom could still be out there. Please don't say its impossible, that would be a lie a long lost princess has come back after a full century the possibility of your past coming back I am sure it is seeming more and more a possible. If that does happen I would slow you down on your path to being a leader.Although if you wish to go to the dessert I will accompany you and Kanakwilla."
She added in what seemed to her to be a polite bow then swam away as the sun was beginning to set on this long day.

Little Red: aka Red~Adult: 3 years (20 years in species)~ ?
She backed away from the scene watching the water like horses. "You." Red said pointing at the large rather blueish green kelpari. "Where is this? What kingdom?" She demanded, though it was not rude in the way that she did it. Her back foot hurt her and this was a very confusing place to be lost in, maybe she could find Diego with the help of any of them.

The amusement of being bossed about by Red was still cute, though at some point he would have to curb her of that habit. He heard her request for information but didn't wish to be rude to Aleria. He allowed her to have her full say, but then she had to get foolish and swim off with the sun setting, especially since she was heading out into deep water. If he didn't do something soon, it would be the worse for her. He turned his neck enough to see Little Red in his left eye, he fixed his gaze in that eye while tracking Aleria's wake with the other. He then spoke to Red humorlessly, "I don't know your name leveret, nor do I know fully what the over-dwellers call it. This lake is my home, regardless if Shaledon exits or not. Though I have been told that the sorceress that lives here is called Astryl. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to put common practice to one very stubborn and foolish mare."
He darted after Aleria without a moments thought. With the setting sun, the sylvorpa will be coming up from the depths and the water sprites were at their hungriest. Once he was certain where her wake was taking her he lept high into the air, spread his fins wide and started gliding. He first angled himself toward the falls and took a boost from the updraft, it didn't take him up more than a third of the height of the falls, but high enough to allow him to glide across half the lake if he needed to. Thankfully that wasn't the case. Her wake water was easy to see from up here. She was taking the path he had expected of her, near the edge of the deep. So she wanted to behave like a common mare, then it was time to treat her like a common mare! He folded in his long fins and dropped back into the lake like a boulder. Aleria had only just enough time to hear the splash overhead and as his form shot passed her, he attempted to smack his tail hard against the side of her head and chase her back to the edge. "So you think yourself too good to be a mare in my domain do you, let's find out!" he said aggressively charging in to try and overpower her to the bottom of the lake or to the lake edge! He knew if she stayed this close to the edge away from the safety of the kelp, there would likely be no Aleria by midnight. She maybe afraid of him right now, but this is the way the common stallions behaved with most mares they wanted to take in. It would probably be more familiar to her than trying to reason in committee.
He took full advantage of his size and traits, kicking her gently but forcibly with hooves, tail and headbutts. He even kept his long fins spread out so he could prevent her from maneuvering behind him easily. He expected her to know that he meant business!

Diego~Adult: 7 years (25 years in species)~ Canyon in Dessert
The stallion looked for one of the little fox to the other. Then the one suddenly left as quickly as she had came. This did nothing to easy his already swimming and dazed thoughts. "What was that all about?" He asked setting his head down as he tried to calm his suddenly cause of vertigo. Just think of Red, keep her on your mind and you can't forget. Can you? Diego opened his eyes again a spark of pain lighting them up both for his physical and mental torment. "I hope me amigo is alright...." he said quietly more to himself than to anyone yet deep inside he knew that it was unlikely that she was still in this world. Where ever she was though he wished her nothing but good luck.

The sun slowly dropped behind the waterfall, bringing an early twilight over the makeshift campsite that Heroine and the others had to settle upon. Aleria and Mermydon had not yet returned and apparently Red decided to hang around to give Mermydon a good telling off if he had the courage to show his ugly, qitari shaped mug back around here again. The hum of the cascade and the lapping of the waves set an easy cadence condusive to lull a Sylestian to sleep. A cool breeze from the east gently pushed the grasses along the plains and lent motion across fur and mane alike.
Amid the calm and quiet wavelets in the lake, little slightly darker wave shaped formations camofleged with the water, poking up and peering at the party. One turned into five, then 15, then 30. The little urchins were active... And hungry!
"Prrrrrrrreeeyyy." One of them hissed to the others.
Another drew a line across it's tiny neck and smiled it's small pointy teeth into a wiked smile. "Ssssssoooooooonnnn, thhhhhhhheeeeeyyy willll beeee ffffffoooooooddd."
Some of them stayed topside to watch the party, occasionally bobbing their heads up and down to simulate looking like the wavelets that disguised their numbers. But many of them were swimming beneath the water using the scent and taste of Kenakwalla's pheromones to pinpoint the party's location ashore.

She had to get away, she was injured and alone that was no match to those pesky sprites of the water. Wincing she drug herself from the waters edge way from anyone that may have know where Diego was, anyone that could help. Still lost and confused Red wondered farther into the wood until she could walk no more. Exhausted she collapsed to the ground in a shivering mass which was once a Bulbori,

The lake was virtually cut off to the party, there was no where any of them could swim off too where they wouldn't be menaced by the little mongrels. Many of the sprites laughed menacingly at Grim's threat. Several smirked and bore very toothy smiles, while still others gnashed their jaws in a mocking fashion, foretelling what they wanted to do with all of them! But what was certain, they were closing in on the shoreline intent to do mischief and harm...
