Allura looked up from Queenie's light hair, and smiled a bit when she saw his smiling face. If she had to be honest, Nicolas was one of Queenie's favorites. Typically because Allura sometimes had to be the bad guy by scolding her, so when she said no, she'd go right to Nicolas and ask the same question in hopes for a different answer.
"We're doing great, I just finished braiding Q's hair since she's always complaining about it getting tangled while she plays." She smiled, but her eyes said "I'm sad, and it's hard for me to be happy for Queenie".
