Maveric shook his head and swore under his breath, taking his spear and charging right past the boy and right to the zombie, spearing it in the chest. After he made sure the zombie was dead, he said, "They usually go in packs, so let's go before more of them show up." He dragged the boy back to where the others were. Lani was glad that they could at least bury her and not just leave her on the streets to rot.

Victor gently picked up the corpse of the dog, in his other arm he held the box and Roger. " Come one let's go.. I will carry Emma until we find a spot we can bury here.. but we must do it soon. " He said calmly as he started to walk, knowing they had to get out of there soon before more of the creatures found them.

Maveric shrugged. "No problem." Lani stood, watching Victor with Emmas body. She said, "wait. We should burn her. There's no dirt around here to bury her in anyway, and the thought of zombies eating her...plus zombies don't like fire, right?"

Alaska was frantically trying to find a car that had gas in it. She wasn't having trouble with the hot-wiring, it just that most of the cars had little to no fuel in them. And she hadn't brought any as with her from home, like she should have

Victor nodded " Anyone have a lighter? I think that would work nicely.. " He said gently placing the body down, he knew that the fire might be a great idea to keep this area safe for awhile. He looked to Lani and sighed " I am very sorry for your loss Lani I really am.. " He looked to the kid with Maveric " Where are you headed? "
