Alaska was still at a loss for words. Well, she wasn't, but her voice box wasn't working. She just nodded to try and show him that she understood

" I am very sorry Alaska.. But I figured I'd get less of a beatin' for it if I told ya myself rather then anyone else telling ya.. "

Maveric found Victor with Alaska. "Hey, what did you mean when you said that Rose dying if she had a child was the funniest thing you ever heard?"

Alaska nodded again

Victor snorted and burst out laughing at hearing it, " Oh god that was the biggest lie my father ever did spin! It ain't true is why it's funny! She can have kids normally just fine, dad just didn't want grandkids. "

Now it was Maveric's turn to not be able to speak. His eyes rolled back and he passed out, now on the floor.

Alaska started laughing, too. "He was always a weak one, especially if it was good news."

" Oh wait... Why would he ask unless... " Rose was out and saw Victor and held him back. " IMMA KILL EM " He didn't looked crazed, or insane, just mad. " Imma throw em outside to the wolves! " Rose sighed " Victor calm down please you're hard to hold back, "

Maveric almost immediately woke up again. He shook his head and stood. "Please tell me that wasn't a dream. If it wasn't, Rose, Victor has something to tell you."

Alaska helped Rose hold Victor back. "Victor, it's fine."

Victor calmed down a few moments later and took a deep breath. " Oh yeah Rose the not being able to have kid thing was a lie. " Rose slapped Victor so hard, it left a mark. " And you couldn't tell me that earlier?! " Rose looked heartbroken.

Maveric put an arm around Rose, holding her close. He looked down at her, a weak smile on his face. "I should've lost the pills more than they already were. If that makes any sense...I'm sorry." It was all his fault. He went out to find the pills, he put them somewhere he might be able to find them again, he was the one that gave them to Rose.

Alaska raised her eyebrows as she watched the scene play out. "I'm not sure I want to know what happened"
