Victor's expression softened, he smiled a small sad smile and said. " There won't be a cure for death.. they die before they turn or get bit. Your dog had no bites on her.. " His eyes were kind of glassy as if he already knew everyone he lost was gone for good. Clearly thinking of people of his past in that moment.

She shrugged. "It wouldn't have been his fault." Maveric heard a moaning sound and turned towards it, spotting a boy with a zombie behind him. He called out, "Watch out! Look behind you!" Lani look towards the sound but didn't really pay too much attention to it.
