Well, that sounds fun, Itami says. Want to swap positions? He sighs. Having something bad happen seems a lot better than just. . .waiting. Waiting for anything to happen, whether waiting for someone to just go outside, someone to show up. . .it's bland. Especially knowing now that alternate version of me have. . .actual lives, actual bodies; all that fun.

"Well, uhm, Itami, Rin, and Hitari are here, too," Shiawase says sheepishly, breaking the silence. "Perhaps we can all go to them?"

Zandaka's brow furrows. "Rin? Is that the, ah, anomaly?"

Yes, that is his name, Chaos says.

". . .interesting."

Rin sighs again. "Yeah. I agree with you there. Running for my life, doing something, ANYTHING, would be better than this. It's like some sort of infernal waiting room. A death rehearsal." He smiles grimly at the thought. "....They do?" Rin tilts his head at Itami. "Huh.... I never really gave that much thought. I kind of imagined all versions of you to be.... well, the same. But now that I think of it, that'd kind of be ridiculous." He glances at the trees where Shiawase left to find Chaos and Zandaka. I hope..... everyone is alright up there. At least, I think I do.

Itami follows your gaze. Eh, if anyone can get them to do anything, it's Shiawase. She can be pretty stubborn.

A moment of silence passes before he speaks again. I hope no other outsiders manage to get in here.

"Well, shall we go?" Shiawase prompts the two. "It doesn't seem like you're quite having a lovely time here. . ."

That'd be great, but I can't exactly move, Chaos replies.

"That's easy enough to solve," Zandaka says, leaning forward. Stretching out her hand, she simply sweeps it across the blackened circle surrounding Chaos. Its shape glows for a moment, then it vanishes. "Now we may go."

Rin pales a little. "Me too. That would, like, actually really suck."

Yeah. But, at the same time. . . Itami says, his voice drifting a little. I kinda hope a version of myself gets here. Maybe they'll take my form like Hitari's was, or maybe there'll just be me and them. I. . .want to see how they do it -

He's interrupted by Hitari's sudden snore, which quickly quiets back down. Laying flat on the ground like that probably doesn't do wonders for Hitari's airways.

Rin's head jolts to Hitari in alarm, but he soon realizes the man was simply snoring. "I guess if what Hitari says is true......." He says softly, "Somehow.... I don't exist on any plane? Like, I don't have any alternate versions? And that's what makes me..... an anomaly, or whatever?"

Seems so. You've got. . .an aura, Itami says. Your presence feels much different than anyone else's. It has. . .ah, what's the word. . .chiaroscuro? I can almost feel its arrangement.

Zandaka hops out of the tree, landing silently on the ground. She watches as Shiawase follows, Chaos drifting down after them. "Now, you should probably lead the way, Shiawase."

"Yes, I will," she replies.

Rin is silent for a second. "Huh." He says at last. "That's..... weird." He glances towards the trees, hearing a slight rustling. "Hey, I think Shiawase might be coming back....?" He says uncertainly.

Itami glances over, squinting. Mm, maybe. I can't really see that far, but I suppose nothing else out there really moves. He gestures vaguely to the house's roof. I mean, apart from your little friend.

"Well, I suspect Chaos already knows where we're going," Shiawase says, nodding to the singularity. "But that doesn't matter; we're all going." Turning, she begins walking back towards the house, the other two following her. They're not going very fast, though. That's fine.

The owl, seemingly unaware of his being mentioned, continues to preen himself from his perch atop the roof.
