I quickly get up, pack my sleeping mat, blankets and anything else that I might have left outside of my packpack, then Wake up Hecate and check on the water.

Hecate gives a small grumpy growl but stretches and follows you. When you check the lake you seem too hear muffled whispering

try to figure out where it's coming from without alerting whoever it is whispering.
