Rose smiled and kissed him on the cheek. " I won't, I promise. " her voice was tired sounding as she got closer to him, snuggling into his side.

Victoria laughed, almost evilly. "Well then. Let's take care of that nasty monster, shall we?" She said, almost melting at the sound of his voice

Maveric smiled and pulled her closer than she already was so that he could feel the heat of her body. He put his free arm around her waist

" Oh no I am going to be the one taking care of you... All night long.. with no stops. " He said as he stood and locked the door.

Rose just grinned, slowly she regained a few memories and she had an idea. " Hey Maveric, " Her voice was small and soft, " I love you, a lot. "

Rose thought for a moment on exactly what to say and with a weak smile said, " I kind of wanted to go out looking for something... I just had a hunch on something. "

" Not now, but tomorrow. I think... I just feel like maybe my mom is still alive and I might know where she is. S-speaking of which.. will you stay with me tonight? "

He nodded. "Yeah, of course. I was gonna ask, but I was too chicken. Don't tell anybody that I said that or I'll deny it."

" Wouldn't dream of it handsome, but I just didn't like the idea of staying alone in here tonight.. might have a nightmare and end up in your bed anyway. "
