" I am proud because you survived, and you remind me of better days... of when things were normal. You just seem so normal, it makes me calm. "

"Me? Normal? I wished." If her face could have gotten redder, it would have. "And I haven't done much to survive, just cower in a store eating Ravioli."

( I like to balance things out so what if Victor finds out there plans and is like " You are both insane, that was a lie my dad told Rose because he didn't want grandkids. " Could be before or after the pill... )

She hid her face in her hands. There was a muffled "Thanks" and Victoria's mind was racing, thoughts fighting for domination

Victor leaned back on the wall behind him, thinking things over. He would be giving Alaska space till she talked to him because that way there was no want he had made things worse.
