Victor put his arm around her making sure he was gentle even like this. " Hey.. if it makes it any better, my ma woulda loved ya like a daughter. " He smiled weakly, trying not to think of her too much as tears already formed in his eyes. " Bet cha would of liked her too.. " He whispered, pain in his gentle voice that soon turned to sorrow in his words, " Wish you coulda met 'er, she was a great person. " He wanted to be stronger for Alaska so before he cried, he walked away from her his shoulders sunken forward and his head held low. He really hated thinking of his mother, not because he didn't love her but because she was gone.

( What if Victor is hiding his pain because he thinks Alaska would be happier if he was like her? )


Rose smiled and returned his kiss, her hands firmly against his shoulders but soon moving up so her arms snaked around his neck. " Still thought I should ask. "

( good point, also because David kind of needs some stronger points in the story how about we bring in a love interest for him? )

Alaska watches him go. She noticed that he was depressed, so she followed him. Now it was her turn to put her arm around him. "Hey, it's alright. Go ahead, cry. I cried when I lost my dad." She shrugged. "Hurt like hell and still does."

"You're too polite, you know that?"

Victor sighed " But.. I really ought not to cry, I should be strong for you right now. " He said with a weak pitiful smile, showing just how much this still was hurting him and how much it would hurt him for years after this.


" I am not, I am just making sure.. "

( ooh right... What about for David? or really just a character he can interact with more often )

"Aw come on," she said in a gentle voice. "You don't gotta be strong for me right now. You know what you can do, though? You can go ahead and break. I do it all the time when I'm alone. When I'm alone and bot thinking about something I start to think about my life before all this crap happened. Just don't tell no one, okay?"

"Uh huh. Sure."

" Of course I won't and I am locking the door every time you are out because I don't want Victoria coming in again. " Victor said as he let a few silent tears run down his cheeks. " I rather not break out here.. " He said as he went to the room and sat back down, finally letting himself cry. He didn't want Maria or really anyone else to see him.
