Victor groaned a little " Roger stoooop! " he said thinking it was Roger. Maria just laughed at that because as soon as Victor said Roger, the dog jumped on the bed and started licking his face as well. " Sttoop it! I don't wanna get up! "


Rose sighed with relief " Oh thank god... "

Alaska smiled to herself. She would have said something smart but she decided against it. "I don't think they want to give you five more minutes." Bailey barked, her tail wagging furiously. "Come here, Bailey. I'll pet you." Bailey went over to Alaska, who pet her like promised

"Yeah. I heard that it wasn't his dominant hand, so that's good."

Victor grumpily sat up and started petting Roger, Maria went over to him. " Are you doing better? " She asked quietly. Victor smiled a little and nodded " Yeah, I am. Didn't worry ya did I? " Maria shook her head. " No, you looked okay but you had a lot of red paint on you, and your arm was gone so I was scared. ' Victor sighed but still smiled, he stopped petting Roger and hugged Maria with one arm. " Sorry to scare ya sweet 'eart. I am alright now. "

" Good... at least he is okay that's all that matters. "

"Yeah, speaking of which, I'm going to start on that arm for you." She left the room, not tired at all. She searched the whole base looking for anything broken, anything that had gears or parts in them. She dumped everything on the floor in an empty room and sat down, starting to take things apart if they weren't already

"Yeah. I think he's with Alaska right now, if you wanted to see him."

Maria stayed with Victor, who told her many stories about his past with small twists on them to make them more child friendly.

" No... he probably needs his rest right now. Don't want to keep him up if he needs rest. Exactly how much did I forget..? "

When Alaska was finished taking everything apart, the once empty room was a mess. There were parts scattered all over the floor except for the space she was sitting in. She started to find specific gears and put them together

Maveric chuckled. "Quite a bit."

Victor soon fell back asleep, his back on the wall behind him. Maria left the room with Roger and went back to her own room,

" Great.. " She said with an annoyed tone, knowing she just had to have forgotten something very important,

Victoria stood outside of Alaska's dorm. She had seen Alaska working on something in another room, so she had a chance. She took a deep breath and put her face into a nonchalant expression that she hoped would pass. She went inside and sat on the edge of the bed

Maveric smiled. "It should just be temporary, but if it's not..." He trailed off slightly, then snapped out of it. "If it's not, then, well, you get another chance, I guess."

Victor stirred, and due to not being able to see from one eye his vision was always blurred a bit. He thought, that due to the way Victoria was holding herself, it was Alaska. " Hello darlin' miss me already? " He teased with a playful smile, beckoning her to come beside him.

" I guess so, but a second chance at what exactly? "

Victoria smiled and said, "Yeah, I did." And to top it off, something she had heard Alaska say. "Don't call me that." So far, so good. She got beside him, and she grew nervous. Alaska was so chill all the time, even around Victor. How did she do it?
