He looked to where Maveric was pointing and saw the box. He looked to both Lani and Maveric and decided that if it was a trap, he would be the one falling for it. He looked to Lani and said. " Could you hold Roger while I go into that building? I don't want him gettin' hurt. " The small pup whined quietly at that, clearly not wanting to leave his owners arm.

( So I had an idea for Emma, Lani's dog. What if they found her but she had turned into a zombie dog? Lani ends up having to kill her.. )

*Youre a living person! You really are!* Aprils eyes lit up as she spoke, oblivious to danger as she approached *I thought there really was no one else in the world... are you alone? How did you get all this way by yourself? You mustve been so lonely* Aprils voice changed from excitement to pity in an instant.

*Hey... youre just a kid* Barry said, raising his arms high in the air as he saw the younger girl approaching. *We arent dangerous, and we have food, were safe* he said to the little girl. My name is Barry, and the girl with me is April, you can come on over* He said in a hopefully comforting tone

(That's a really good idea! Lani might get hysterical, though, so...)

Lani gently took Roger out of Victors arms. She talked to the puppy saying, "It's okay, your owner is gonna be back soon, he's just going to check something out." She continued to sooth the puppy while Maveric kept guard

Kiro just stood there, stareing
"....."
Kiro continued to hold his bat, in case she decided to attack him
"....do you even know who I am..?"

She nodded and lowered her arms, she was still scared but she acted tough not wanting them to think she was weak. She went closer to him, she stayed quiet though. " Are you sure you are not gonna hurt me? " She asked softly.

Victor smiled a little hearing Lan try to soothe Roger. He went into the building and slowly made his way to the box.. near the floor there a bear trap. He reached over to the box and snatched it and went out of the building.. He heard the trap snap shut and turned around.. there was a Zombie.. this was a death trap.

Lani Heard a loud SNAP! and flinched. Maveric turned towards the sound, startled. (Sorry for the short response, gtg I'll be on later tonight)

Victor went back outside to the group in a panicked state " I-it was a death trap! " He said in a hushed yet frightened voice. He was shaking a little, truly frightened from the prospect that he might of been dead a few moments ago due to that trap. The fear in his eyes said it all, he was scared out of his mind.

*Not at all! But I know youre just like me- you want to live* April said to him, a bright smile on her face. *Whats your name? Whats your favorite color? Whats your favorite animal? What were you like before the world was like this? Ive never had anyone else to talk to!* April said cheerfully, not aware of how annoying her questions might be

*Dont worry kid, I promise I wont hurt you... you look like youre around Aprils age. You must be lonely out here by yourself, if youre anything like her, I bet youre dying to talk to another person* Barry said softly, his disposition calm and inviting, holding himself in a casual and non threatening way

Rose now stood almost in front of the man, around 1 1/2 arm length away. She shook her head softly, her arms crossed over her chest. " I am just trying to look for my brother.. he should live somewhere around here.. I hope he does. " She said now in a little bit of a calmer voice, trying not to seem too timid either.
