Unfortunately I cannot tell you why I am so far from home for I do not know either." Staying bowed, Jack keeps his eyes firmly on the ground before him and tensely waits for a response.

Relax, Pyro-Sela, You hear the voice, but the creature has turned back to Vekinor, not confirming whether she was or was not the Queen.

Mobile also doesnt do apostrophes :/) Tigerfrost lead Jack and Vekinor out of the dungeon and back to the front of the palace. Up the stairway and through the massive set of doors, temporarily held open by a pair of guards who nodded to Tigerfrost and closed the doors behind the group. You marvel at the grandeur that befalls your eyes: You go down the hall, taking the beauty in, and Tigerfrost opens the door at the end of the hall. A single Aeridini is hovering in the center of the square of seats. You notice that, to your knowledge, the four of you are the only beings present in the entire palace. Except one. You can sense another being, a powerful being who demanded respect. It wasnt just a sense, though. You could almost physically feel waves of something indescribable come over you, gentle yet powerful beyond words. One after the other, in steady pulses. The waves relax you, and you feel a strong sense of loyalty to the source of the pulse, a sense of serenity and pride, a new sense of power and of instinct. And the source of the pulse? It hovered directly in front of you, not 10 feet away. You are in total awe as the regal Aeridini slowly rests her gaze on each of you. As her gaze lands on you, you feel the waves stronger, so strong you can actually feel them physically as the ruffle your fur and run through your veins. As soon as her gaze is turned off of you, the waves subside to the softer pulse you first felt. The creature says nothing, landing her gaze on Jack for the second time. Her mouth makes no move, yet you (Jack) hear a gentle, yet strong, demanding, but kind, voice in your head, seeming to come from everywhere and nowhere. Jack. A Ferrikki. What are you doing so far from home, Pyro-Sela? You arent sure what she called you, but answer how you can anyway. What do you do? 1. Respond 2. Try to run As soon as she is finished addressing Jack, she looks at Vekinor again. You hear the voice Jack heard, but it says, Vekinor. I recognize you. I knew your great great grandmother, generations ago. You look like her. Tell me, why have you left your pride? I assume it is the Torao Pride, is it not? What do you do? 1. Respond 2. Try to run

As soon as he and Jack stop Vekinor gives a low bow, straightening as the queen addresses him. "It is an honor to meet you Your Majesty, until now I have only heard stories of this kingdom. And while it is true that I was born of the Torado Pride, I was exiled after a recent change in leadership." Vekinor unconsciously shifts his shoulders, sad and slightly embarrassed at having been driven from his home.

You both hear the voice this time, growing slightly urgent. With the waves, you now feel urgency as well, along with a strong sense of loss and hatred.
I require your assistance. At the moment, I cannot spare the help that this world so desperately needs. A great horror has befallen our land, ravaging much. The balance of nature is a delicate, but strong one. The delicacy is being torn apart as we speak. The strength of nature is failing. I cannot stop this on my own. If you are willing to help, I believe you both can, greatly.
Without waiting for an answer, she continues. You would have agreed anyway, as the waves convey irrepressible feelings of a desire to help.
Vekinor, the leader who exiled you is no more. Your pride requires your help. A deadly threat is about to wipe out the entire known existence of Lighira in our lands. They have no escape. You need to go, create an escape, and bring the pride back here where I can shelter them.
Pyro-Sela, your task is of a much more mundane nature, yet vital to saving our land. You must go speak with King Derfor (Dair-for)

He is in danger, and he holds the stability of all our souls in his paws.

Jack and Vekinor, how do you respond?

"All right, sure, but one thing before I go, and this might be a little insensitive, but..." At this Jack straightens and looks at the being in her eyes, "What are you?"


(Also totally off topic, but how exactly would fights work? Because it'd really suck if I say I do one thing, and then you say the entire fight is over because of this and that reason and I/my character has no chance to respond to this and that reason.)

(It probably does seem like Im rushing this and not giving much of an option for this specific part, but I promise to let up on taht ALOT after they leave the Aeridinis Kingdom. The Queen was granted a lot of power by a certain goddess, pretty much became the goddess. Thats why shes Queen. She has the ability to manipulate feelings and will if a creatures soul is untouched, and cleanse it if it was previously touched. Im not doing everything by how Krin and Fai made Sylestia, Im working on maps and more details about the kingdom atm, which will be gradually added over the next couple weeks. Ill start revealing a lot of things that will make things make a lot more sense. But almost everybodys will is swayed in the presence of the Queen. Fights will probably quite a few posts, just to allow everybody more options on what to do. Sometime sthough, I will limit you on what you can do because I have a storyline planned out that Im trying to keep everyone on track of. And if it seems like I dont give you an option you want, let me know and Ill adjust it)

Yes, the guard drifted in front of the cell to look at you.

Since you are now awake, youll be able to meet the Queen. Shes been wanting to speak with every Lich who turns back.

Things will probably be slow moving for the next 1-2 weeks due to holiday vacations. I will also be a bit more focused on updating the thread with a bunch of new details to make the RPG more immersive, interesting, and fun. Thanks for the understanding, the RPG will not be stopping completely, but it will be much slower than usually some days.
