Ashleigh examined Willow's wound while Riker was applying a poltice. "It's a nasty bump you have, but little more than a disciplinary spanking for draeyl kind." Ashleigh said. "Be thankful she wasn't truly angry." Willow and Riker's were assessing her with their noses the way others did with their eyes. There was no hiding the glow in her cheeks, or the pheromones oozing from her glands and the muskiness of Basil's residues from virtually every scaly crevice it could work it's way into.She blushed a little as she placed a claw over her belly. "Let's just say I'm guaranteeing to make Basil an honest draeyl. Even if I have to sit a nest to do so." When Willow commented about Riker's 'diary,' Ashleigh placed her left claw over her muzzle to stiffle her own giggles, so Riker couldn't see her actually agreeing with his sister.
Ainsleigh & Tatsu
Tell tale signs outside of the dungeon proved that Tatsu and Ainsleigh had been outside of the location recently. There was a rub where Tatsu's prone form had fallen and he had worked the ground rough while he had been working the numbness from his body. There were also claw and sliding tail tracks from where Ainsleigh had been pacing and searching about on the ground and digging in at the odd moments where she was steadily becoming impatient with waiting to breach the dungeon entrance. The marks were clear and deliberate, as though the draeyls were leaving a trail for their fellows to find.
"Hey are you the Nice Zolnixi's friends?" [ Firefly ] asked with sparkles in his eyes and a childish grin going from ear to ear.
Ainsleigh peered over Tatsu's shoulder at the little tyke. He was peering up at Tatsu for the moment. "Yes we are, do you know where we might find them?" She asked, though her voice carried into the room with the vulnyx skeleton and the rune bow.
Tatsu squatted down as best he could to get down to the little lighira's eye level. "I am Tatsu and this is my mate Ainsleigh. We are very worried about them." He replied.
At about that time they saw Tomen and Damion enter from the far side of the room. They were quick to respond befor Ainsleigh could ask them about Blue and about their introduction of Firefly. "Is she alone?" Tatsu asked judging by the probability that there was signs of more than one cub near the damaged tree in the room behind them. Ainsleigh was relieved to hear that Blue Jay was alright, but it wasn't the only thought on her mind. "None of the three of you tinkered with any temporal distortion devices or rift portal thingamajigs did you?" She inquired of the two. Tatsu still squatted like a gigantic gargoyle beside the little Lighira cub, silently admiring Ainsleigh's knowledgable vocabulary of the time distorting devices she must have been able to name in there on the last visit.

Firefly curiously stared at Tatsu "Are you two guards? My father used to have a Draeyl friend how guarded this weird temple-thing, he said it wasn't uncommon for Draeyls to be guards" He asked, not noticing the two Zolnixi entering the room

"Basil's an odd one, isn't he?" Riker stated, Willow raised an eyebrow "I'd have to disagree, he might not know a lot about Draeyl culture, but overall he's a pretty normal guy... Uh, I should probably go strengthen the shield now" She walked past Ashleigh and found her way upstairs. Riker turned to Ashleigh "So, has he told you yet?"

Tomen shook his head " We located a Rift, but other than that no other abnormalities, Bule may have something else to offer though" he said swishing his tail before looking to Damion as if the Tom were to add something as well.
Damion thought for a moment before remembering the statues " There are some rooms that house some statues ... one in particular was strange.. and the crystals hold and odd pulsing power too" he said Vaguely not really sure how to go about it as he had never worked with the two draeyls before and found their presence a bit intimidating unlike Basil and Ashleigh.
Blue smiled inwardly " No worries.." she said Slowing her pace once she could smell Tomen and Damion's fresh scent and entering quietly behind then setting Rosa down on her own paws Catching Tomen's comment and letting Damion speak before speaking up Making both of the Toms almost Jump out of their skins. " I may have found some Intel on the ten years we missed, and ran into 387... the Steel Lupora, though I doubt she goes by that number..." she wanted to continued but decided to keep he muzzle silent for the moment

Tatsu & Ainsleigh
"Strictly speaking, no we aren't." Tatsu said in answer to Firefly's guard questions. "But yer sire is mighty wise usin' draeyl for guarding things. So which of our zolnixi friends did you meat an' befriend first?" He queried of the cub. Ainsleigh gave careful attention to each report that was coming from the zolnixi's. She was also listening to the two cubs as well. Thus far she was certain of two things, but mystical and magical things were not her area of expertise. "Rifts and the mystic are more your area of training Tomen. All I know about rifts is to avoid them. nobody can tell what will come through one or where it will lead. And there have been many warnings about their unstable nature. What I am certain of, is that the lights weren't left on when we materialized to this point in time. So somebody has come and gotten this place active again, even if not all the way. With any luck it was 387 that did it. Do you cubs have any ideas?"
"Perhaps 'A,' we should exit outta here, send Damion away with the cubs an' wait on Nina and Rose Petal ta arrive." Tatsu suggested plainly.
Ainsleigh nodded her affirmation to Tatsu's thought.
Ashleigh
Willow's defense of Basil was admirable and likely Riker would take it better from his sister than from Ashleigh. Since it wasn't Willow's heart being toyed with in this game of cat and mouse. "He's sleeping soundly right now." Ashleigh started. "He promised to tell me the full truth once he woke up." She sighed. "I hope this is worth it, playing on my love for him to find out the truth." She told Riker. "I have sacrificed my maidenhood and mated with him on faith that he isn't what you fear he might be. It's more than a friend should ask of another." Her agitation and discomfort were as plain as the muzzle on her face. Riker understood, it didn't make it any easier for either of them, considering this plan was Apollo's idea, but they couldn't afford for him to be present when they executed it. Ashleigh's part was simple, follow her mother's advice and take the mate she wanted. Then maybe he would open up about his mysterious rendezvous. Ashleigh truly loved Basil, so many times she wanted to cross the threshold of his room and raid his nest, never daring to because it was frowned upon by many in the guild. But Ainsleigh virtually affirmed that it WAS the draeyl thing to do! She felt like a completely different person doing what she had. Despite the pain she dearly wanted to be with Basil, to hold him to her bosom and clutch his eggs. Riker and Apollo knew and approved of the matching, not just because they were her friends. "Just gimme a drink and let me get back in there?" She asked. Though Riker could tell she was protectively covering her tummy with one claw.

Rose quickly followed, though not exactly matching Lily's speed (it's super sonic XD), but able to follow without losing her.

Damion Nodded in agreement with their decision to Send Him and the cubs on, but he was curious and couldn't help but question their decision a little " What do you four plan to do here...... If I may These tikes know the lay better than ourselves.. it be of benefit to keep them with us" he said looking at the two little ones
Blue nodded in agreement with Damion " Yes Rosa mad getting up here in the time we did possible, I would probably still be sniffing my way out without her.." she said flattening her ears a bit She trusted Tats and A's Judgment, but it would be unwise to continue the dungeon without any direction.. even if they had been there before
Tomen listened to their cater about the kits before entering his own two cent about the rift and crystals " I agree, but as long as the cubs are around I say we steer clear of the rift.. as for the rest it should be okay to check out at the very least, willow and I did not see much of interest in the air, but you two had different views."he explained hoping that would help settle some of the forward planing, after all they wee loosing daylight they couldn't afford to waste time among themselves

"Thanks." She said to Riker with a reassuring smile. She gulped down a water that Fir handed her. "Time to hear what my mate has been up to." She said as she turned to make her way back down to her new quarters. She paused just for a moment to add, "And if you hear anything else other than words being exchanged, do not disturb us." ((OOC: I'd add more, but I suspect there could be an addition here.))
Ainsleigh & Tatsu
Ainsleigh listened to Blue and Damion about the benefits of the cubs. She faced Damion and addressed him on the matter. "A good idea, that. But if you and the cubs intend to stay, you'd best keep a healthy distance from the four of us and the ryori when they get here." Tatsu took a step forward to add. "We figure Blue and Tomen are trying to find a way back to our own time. Since traveling forward in time is nat'ral and backward ain't. We assume it wouldn't do for a mixed group from different times to get cast across time together." Tomen had already stated the point about steering clear of the rift so not much point in that. "Unless the rest of you have a better idea, let's get back to the opening until Nina and Rosepetal join us." Ainsleigh suggested, though it sounded a little like a command.

"I don't understand why we have to stay away from the rift-thingy, it's not that dangerous, as long as you don't touch it. In fact my mom put bars around it just to make sure that didn't happen" Rosa asked, confused "Yeah but if the rift gets bigger than it might become a problem. We need to find a way to destroy it, most likely with temporal or light magic, a powerful seal might work as well" Firefly replied "How do you know all this stuff I don't? You're only two years older than me!" "I used to sneak into my father's personal library and read the books he had"

Both Riker and Fir nodded, after Ashleigh left they began to chat "Want to play a puzzle game in my room? I'll even give you a few pillows to lay on" Fir asked, calmly smiling "How could I say no to that? Of course i'll join you, you idiot" Riker answered, smiling back, the two walked back to his room, discussing what game they'd play
