Victor smiled and tried not to cry himself " No fair Alaska this was suppose to be my moment to make you happy.. " He took the rag and unwrapped it, noticing the ( I think different because wording was a tad weird ) beautiful ring and he grinned, but then said " Alaska, don't know if you've noticed but I can't put it on.. " He laughed nervously, tears now rolling down his cheeks. " But to give you your answer my dear.. " He helped her up and kissed her lovingly, " Yes, a million times yes darlin'. " his eyes where shining from tears, he was an emotional person. " I am glad.. that not only do I have the most beautiful woman in the world but, I gave my Ma her final wish.. " He said happily.

" I hope it stops one day.. I want to go on dates with you walking through central park. "

"That's alright, you can just keep it safe somewhere. And what was your mom's final wish? If you don't mind me asking, of course." She hugged him tightly, glad that they were going to get married. She had actually been dreaming about this ever since she was a little kid. Getting married, that was, not Victor. When she was little, she had had a friend named Victor, but he had moved or something. She had been really sad after that because he had been her best friend.

Maveric smiled. "Me too. We probably could, but it would be dangerous."

Victor cuddled into her, smiling with pure happiness. " Well... she wanted me to get married to someone I truly loved and she wanted grandkids, she jokes about it along but... those were her last words to me. She wanted a daughter in law.. " He said sadly, " And well.. I am happy to have you as mine. Really, truly happy. "

" Yeah maybe we could.. but should we? "

"I've never been so happy in my life. And what do you want? A boy or a girl?" Alaska asked. She honestly didn't care, she would love both. She had already been thinking about names for both, but couldn't decide. She had had this indecisive side of her since...forever. But it hadn't always been the dominant side. Ever since she had found out, it had become stronger and stronger


"I dunno. We would have to prepare ourselves well, for a hoard possibly. So probably not."

Victor thought for a moment and grinned " Either, and if it were a girl I would think of the name Aurora and if a boy Boris. " He said happily, hoping she would catch the names correlated to Alaska. " I would be happy with either.. but I want a son. " He said after that, still holding Alaska gently.



" Yeah... and we would need guns "

"Those are cute names, and they go along with mine," Alaska said, smiling, her head on his chest. "I don't care which we have, as long as it lives long enough to grow up." She tried to push that nagging thought out of her head. Her baby wouldn't die. Surely not. Victor promised that it wouldn't, and she desperately wanted to believe him. Maveric was a doctor, so if it got sick, he would be able to heal it, right?

"Yeup. We could always do laps around the base."

" They will Darlin', they will, we need to make a run to the hospital for child's medicines.. " He said worriedly, hating the idea of his child getting sick. " We also need more blankets to keep them warm and a crib... and they are staying in one of our rooms so one of us can always be alert.. and we need child's clothing.. " He started to trail off with listing things they would need, thinking too much about it already. " Also I am going to guard you from now on.. "


" I would run faster then you and leave you in the dust every lap "

"You already do that already. And I'm still going out. I cannot be cooped up in here all day long. And I'm already up all night long, so that shouldn't be a problem. As for everything else..." She trailed off, rubbing the side of her head with her hand. Where were they going to find all the stuff? In some zombie infested house? No way.

Maveric laughed. "You wish. I have much longer legs than you do."

" I know I can't keep you here, that is rude. You are still who you are and I know you hate being cooped up. Just nothing dangerous. "

" Just because I am smaller doesn't mean I am not faster! "

"Aww c'mon! Dangerous is my life," she whined. "Didn't you see what I did back there? I laugh in the face of danger. Hahahaha! Besides, I'll be fine. Like you said, I'm still me, and that means I can survive. I've got this far, haven't I?"

"Uh huh. And are you gonna prove that?"
