Victor was stunned into silence, and he remained like that for many moments.. Finally when he had processed her words he smiled a huge happy and excited smile. " A-Alaska... " He said hoarsely, " Alaska I am so happy right now!! We are going to be parents!! " He hugged her with such love, such tenderness, " Alaska I can't believe it.. You are going to relax, you don't have to worry about anything okay I will take care of everything.. You can still come out with us but no fighting or hard work okay? "

"Shh!" She hissed, slapping a hand over his mouth. She knew that their cover was probably blown. How wonderful. How had he followed her? "Where is my bat?" She whispered. "Well, well, well," he said, clapping his hands slowly. "You finally figured it out. I've been in the base before you arrived."

Victor saw the man and just knew he was danger, he stood protectively in front of Alaska, but made a small gesture only she would see directing her to a gun, he grabbed his pipe, standing ready to fight. " Why are you here, and what do you want? " He spoke in such an assertive tone, and he looked like he would kill the man if he got too close.

Alaska lunged for the gun, grabbing it and pointing it at the freak. He had a cake in one hand, a pistol in the other. "I'm here," he said with a smug look on his face, "for her." He nodded his head towards Alaska. She almost dropped the gun, but her hand held steady. "What for?" Her voice broke, and she swallowed hard. "Did your other flower die?" She sneered. "Is that why you came back for me?" He laughed maliciously. "No. I'm here for you because of your child."

Victor at the immediately got in front of Alaska again " You want her? Kill me first. You won't get her till I am cold and dead. " He sneered challengingly. " That is my Fiancee and child you are talking about, if you want either you are gonna have'ta get through me first, and I ain't no easy fight... " He accidently revealed his plans, but due to his mind not really being there he didn't notice he said it.. He raise his pipe. " Come fight me like a man! "

The freak laughed. "You're nothing. You're nothing more than just some idiot who wants to protect someone that has you fooled into thinking that she loves you. How do you know that what she's said isn't a lie? What if she's been lying this whole time, huh?" That almost always got to people. Alaska growled at him. "You're just jealous that I don't love you. That's what this is." She pushed past Victor. "That's all this has ever been." She pushed the barrel of the gun into his windpipe.

Victor watched him carefully, not believing his words. " If she didn't love me, she wouldn't'a kept the child ya pig brained moron. I know 'laska, and I happen to know she loves me dearly, even if she never says it. Leave, leave now or I am 'bout to move 'er out of the way and beat ya to a bloody pulp and feed ya to mah dog for dinner. " He snarled, his accent becoming stronger with his anger.... but he then started to doubt Alaska, he knew she could fake it, but was she? Was she... faking? You could tell it got to him, and he started to wonder if the child was even his.. she was away for some time....

The freak noticed and that smug look returned to his face. "Those are empty threats. Now who's the moron? Who would ever trust Alaska? She's never been honest, has she? In high school what was she like? Are you foolish enough to believe that she might have changed since then?" His voice started to become hoarse as Alaska pressed harder on the gun. "I can't wait to see that rotten blood of yours spill all over the floor. I'm gonna hang your head from my old bat just to remind myself of the monster you were. Thanks to you, I can hardly trust anyone, including my own damn sister! Thanks to you, little Lizzy is dead!" The freak silently and almost unnoticeably aimed his gun at the man. "She was weak. That's why she died." "No, she was sick, and you didn't give a damn and didn't find a ******ed doctor!"

Victor finally lost it at this point and really truly started to doubt Alaska, you could hear his voice breaking as he spoke, he, was breaking. " No... no I-I can't believe that.. Alaska... she loves me... she wouldn't- " You could hear he was choking back a sob. " She wouldn't do... so that to me.. she... she.... she wouldn't.. she wouldn't lie about my child.. " He sounded as if he were trying to convince himself.

The freak pushed Alaska away and shot at the same time, hitting Victor's arm. He swore and so did Alaska. "Why did you feed him those lies?" She asked him, shaking her head. "What lies?" He asked, a serious look on his face. "You don't know me, you don't know what I feel for Victor. You're just a-" Her voice got cut off by the gunshot. She had shot him in the head. She turned to Victor, silent tears streaming down her face
