Victor was hiding under a desk, curled up as small as he could get with the blanket. He looked terrified, absolutely terrified of the thunder. He was scared of it from a childhood accident.

Alaska gently closed the door behind her and went and sat next to him, putting her arm around him. She wasn't sure what else she could do. If she said anything, it might make it worse

Victor immediately cuddled up to Alaska, feeling more safe beside her. " T-t-thank y-you... " he said with a scared shaky voice, his body trembling. He started to relax before he jumped by the sudden very loud sound of the thunder, now trembling more.

"Don't worry, Victoria was always scared of thunder, too. She would always have to come into my room and sleep with me. Before this, she always played this stupid video game. I can't remember what it was called, but she said that thunder sounded like a sky dinosaur."

Victor smiled weakly, nodding. " I have my reasons to be scared of it, you can blame my father or it.. " He said sadly as he tried to calm himself, but the raging storm outside wouldn't let him. " I am just glad I have you here to help me calm down... Usually it would be Rose but I prefer you here darlin' you make me feel safe and protected.. "

Alaska smiled and punched him on the shoulder softly. "Don't call me that. And what did your father do? Surely it couldn't have been that bad, right?"

" Aww but I really like callin' ya that.. but if it makes you happy I won't. " Victor said gently as he could, not letting his voice shake. At the mention of exactly what his father did he shuddered. " Ever wonder why I have tattoos and yet I am not 21?"

"No, I guess not. And you can call me what you want, as long as it's not 'Princess', alright?" She rested her head on his shoulder, looking up at him

Victor nodded " I won't call you that then Alaska. " As she leaned on him, gently putting his arm around her. " Well, whenever there was a thunderstorm my father would send me out to tend the horses and if I didn't do it right, when I cam back I would get a beating outside as the thunder sounded outside. So I always have been scared of thunder, and the tattoo on my chest covers the scars he gave me.... He was a bad man, if I am so blessed to have children I will only be good to them.. " He looked to Alaska lovingly and kissed her forehead. " And, if I am so blessed, I would only want it to be you.. "
