In the corner of the wall in the makeshift bathroom, in a little cleft, you can spot something shimmering, but it is too high up to easily reach.

"Oooh! Shiny!" Jack's eyes light up at the sight.

(In these order of events, if he fails to retrieve the shiny, Jack will:

1. Attempt to scramble up the wall and grab the shiny

2. Stand on any raised surface to better reach shiny

3. Go back to the main room, grab the blanket, return to the makeshift bathroom, throw the blanket up onto the cleft, pull it down, and repeat until shiny is dislodged and retrieved

(It's probably just a bar of soap isn't it? XD))

Your tiny claws scrape against the stone as you futily jump at the wall. As you attempt to stand on the bucket of water to get higher, it tips over, soaking your left leg and side and creating a puddle underneath you. You scurry back to grab a blanket and throw part of it up at the wall, dislodging the shiny object. As you pick it up out of the puddle, you realize it is just a dark red Draeyl scale, presumably left from the last creature in your cell.

Quickly moving out of the puddle, Jack goes and sets the bucket upright again before moving out of the side room, blanket and Draeyl scale in tow. He takes a moment to shake off the water clinging to his leg, side, and feet in irritation before using a corner of the blanket to dry it off.

Looking back down at the scale, he smiles, "Worth it!"

Jack takes a moment to closely inspect the scale.

(Anything interesting on the scale? Also might be a bit inactive in the next week since I'll be on a trip, but I'll try and respond when I can :))

As Jack finishes inspecting the scale, Tigerfrost reappears. I can take you to meet your representatives now. She unlocks your cages and held out a pair of shackles, waiting for you to let her place them around your ankles.

What do you do? (Jack and Vekinor)
1. Allow Tigerfrost to put the shackles on and take you to the representatives
2. Attack someone (specify who)
3. Nothing

Wow, that was fast! Jack hurriedly brushes down his fur to make himself more presentable, tucking the scale between his right ear and horn.

Alright, Im all ready! Skipping a bit towards the blue Aeridini, Jack lets her put the shackles on with perhaps a bit too much enthusiasm.

(Gosh dang mobile and the deletion of quotes!)

Vekinor stands patiently as Tigerfrost puts on the manacles, interested to see more of the fantastic city he had observed earlier.

(Yeah the no quotes are a pain. Mobile also doesnt do apostrophes :/)

Tigerfrost lead Jack and Vekinor out of the dungeon and back to the front of the palace. Up the stairway and through the massive set of doors, temporarily held open by a pair of guards who nodded to Tigerfrost and closed the doors behind the group. You marvel at the grandeur that befalls your eyes:

You go down the hall, taking the beauty in, and Tigerfrost opens the door at the end of the hall.

A single Aeridini is hovering in the center of the square of seats.

You notice that, to your knowledge, the four of you are the only beings present in the entire palace. Except one. You can sense another being, a powerful being who demanded respect. It wasnt just a sense, though. You could almost physically feel waves of something indescribable come over you, gentle yet powerful beyond words. One after the other, in steady pulses. The waves relax you, and you feel a strong sense of loyalty to the source of the pulse, a sense of serenity and pride, a new sense of power and of instinct. And the source of the pulse? It hovered directly in front of you, not 10 feet away. You are in total awe as the regal Aeridini slowly rests her gaze on each of you. As her gaze lands on you, you feel the waves stronger, so strong you can actually feel them physically as the ruffle your fur and run through your veins. As soon as her gaze is turned off of you, the waves subside to the softer pulse you first felt. The creature says nothing, landing her gaze on Jack for the second time. Her mouth makes no move, yet you (Jack) hear a gentle, yet strong, demanding, but kind, voice in your head, seeming to come from everywhere and nowhere.
Jack. A Ferrikki. What are you doing so far from home, Pyro-Sela? You arent sure what she called you, but answer how you can anyway.

What do you do?
1. Respond
2. Try to run

As soon as she is finished addressing Jack, she looks at Vekinor again. You hear the voice Jack heard, but it says,
Vekinor. I recognize you. I knew your great great grandmother, generations ago. You look like her. Tell me, why have you left your pride? I assume it is the Torao Pride, is it not?

What do you do?
1. Respond
2. Try to run

Jack tilts his head at the strange, foreign feeling, an almost invisible shiver moves through his body. (Feels like... magic?) He thinks, taking an almost unconscious step backwards before smoothly transitioning into a slightly stilted bow.

"Your majesty, it is an honor to meet you. Unfortunately I cannot tell you why I am so far from home for I do not know either." Staying bowed, Jack keeps his eyes firmly on the ground before him and tensely waits for a response.
