Rose woke up and shook Maveric awake " Patrols, we have to go. " Rose got dressed and waited for Mav.

Victor waited patiently like a tiger waiting to pounce, he was much too calm, much too relaxed. It was unnatural. He just waited in his office, the gun already on his lap. A part of him was telling him not to do this, to just wait for her, that she would return. On the other hand one told him she left because he was weak, she only used him when he was strong. He believed that side more.

Victor was starting to really lose his mind now, he closed and locked his office door, pacing around the room only injuring himself more. She left because you are weak, Victor. She saw those wounds and your eye like this and knew you were nothing but a piece of ******. She hated you from the start, you knew this Victor. The words in his mind tormented him, he wanted it to end, he wanted to not hear it anymore.

Maveric followed her and Lani elbowed him in the ribs. He ignored her and Lani rolled her eyes. "You're no fun to tease." "That's kind of the point."

Alaska was still breathing hard. She went around the base, entering from the back. When she was inside, she rested her hands on her knees, trying to catch her breath. She could smell food and her stomach growled loudly. She folded her arms over her stomach, hoping that nobody heard that. She heard people talking and figured she was screwed. She was gonna get a serious lecture that she could not go through right now.

Rose peaked her head in the door " Come on daylight is wasting and I think there might be a storm! " She called. She didn't want to get caught in a storm.


Victor was talking to himself now, as if trying to talk himself down from this but it was no use, he would be doing this no matter what...
