The griffin ignored your words and launched into the air. It had a job to do, which was to get you to the Earthshaker's and back.

Orchenia nodds and focuses her mana. making the flow a little bit more she focused on the clear diamond shape appearing at the end of her finger. She concentrated on each of the individual mana parts hardening into an unbreakable diamond shape. She pointed her finger

You see you could easily push the white one off, as both cats are not paying attention to you.
Not wanting to shove the creature, I grab where its ribs would be and pick it up that way, shuffling it to where it is facing me and not the cat

The griffin draws nearer to the mountainside and you see a cave. Inside the cave, you see a flash of dragon scale.
