Welcome to The race against Fate: The ultimate quest! Create a character, meet others (including gods/goddesses!), battle monsters, complete quests, and collect awesome things! Every choice you make can potentially decide what happens later! Beware of lies, traps, manipulation, and deception!
Read: The Story Behind This Quest to understand what is happening.
You look around you, observing your surroundings. You are standing in a large plain, namely the Southern plains. The wind rustles the grass, making them look like green waves against the vast expanse of blue sky above you. Where do you wish to go?

General rules:
1. Ping me(Or I probs wont respond)
2. Be appropriate(No cussing/etc)
3. Follow the roleplay rules
4. If I say something, please dont argue. What I say goes
5. Please don't god-mod. Nobody gets any fun out of that; neither you nor me
6. If I don't reply in a long time, feel free to ping me again. Just do remember I have school and I won't always be available.
THERE ARE TWO WAYS OF RP IN THIS GAME
1. Decisive roleplay:
I will give you a choice. Example:
Me: You walk into the village. There are several things you can do:
>Go to the shop
>Socialize
>Go to the blacksmiths
>Walk through the village and ignore the people
You: I will go to the shop
Etc.
2. Free roleplay:
What you do I do not control or give you a choice, as long as it is within reason. Example:
Me: You enter the forest, and immediately see a creature that doesnt look very friendly and is getting ready to attack you.
You: I run away as fast as I can

Level 3: Can take out medium animals
Level 4: Can teach others to fight/Can take out medium magical creatures
Level 5: Can take out medium magical creatures
Level 6: Can take out large animals
Level 7: Can take out large magical animals
Defense:
Level 1: Can defend against small animal attacks
Level 2: Can defend against small magical animal attacks
Level 3: Can deflect a minor fireball/Can defend against medium animal attacks

Magic:
Level 1: Can hold a wand and do spells that cause useless smoke
Level 2: Can put up a pretty good barrier/cast confusion spells
Level 3: Can put up an excellent barrier/cast spells that to damage
Level 4: Can do excellent barriers/spells without a wand
Level 5: Can fire fireballs/Can summon elements
Theft:
Level 1: Can take something when nobody is looking
Level 2: Can pickpocket small things/Can avoid some hits on the battlefield
Level 3: Can steal normal sized things while target is unaware
Level 4: Can steal very well even if target is looking in their direction
Level 5: Can do elaborate heists without getting caught/Can avoid most hits on the battlefield
Healing:
Level 1: Can use bandaids and cough drops
Level 2: Basic knowledge of herbs and can treat minor injuries(Bleeding/scrapes/etc)
Level 3: Improved knowledge of herbs and can treat normal injuries(Broken bones/major bleeding/etc)
Level 4: Wide knowledge of herbs and can treat psychological problems(memory loss/etc)
Level 5: Can heal anything within reason

The Story Behind This Quest
The world of Ethernys has been peaceful for since the beginning of time. The gods and goddesses of the world have watched over the people and creatures, granting everyone happiness and prosperity.
But, no. Nothing good lasts forever. As humans evolved more and more, they grew distant from the gods and the magical creatures, creating their own religions and not believing in magic anymore. They began to kill the mythical beasts and humans that did believe, in fear that they themselves were wrong.
Fate, one of the governing gods of Ethernys saw the destruction. He came up with the dreadful idea of starting over. Which means, the gods destroy Ethernys and everything inside it, and recreate a whole new world. Fate began to talk to the other gods and goddesses, which a few agreed with him. The ones who liked Ethernys and disagreed, began to argue with the ones who agreed. War broke out. In a desperate dash of luck, Fates sister, Destiny, sealed Fate away into a void, in the dimension called the n-field.
The key to starting over was a crystal called Pax Excitium and belonged to The Creator, creator of Ethernys and the leader of all the gods. The Creator rests in a dimension of his own, accessible by no gods except his children, Fate and Destiny. There was, however, a rumor that the creations of The Creator could enter into his dimention.
The gods and goddesses who believed Fate found representatives in humans and beasts, manipulating them into opening Fates seal. Fate, once again, was on the move in search of the entrance to The Creators dimension.
Destiny, in fear of Ethernys being destroyed, sent her message to the last twelve villages/towns/cities that believed in magic and the old gods. From these twelve villages, twelve young people set out to find the portal to The Creators dimension, in hopes of reaching there and destroying the Pax Excitium crystal before Fate does.
The race against Fate had begun.
