Elliott rubbed her face groggily, walking into the kitchen to find Hanoko and Aoi busy at work. "Hey...are there towels down here I could use to...." she pulled her hand away, blood oozing from the gash on her cheek and onto her palm. "...yeah. That." She forced a bitter laugh.

Puyo looked at Lillian, but there was something about the way she looked at her that seemed...scary. It wasn't a glare, but it wasn't a friendly look either. It was more...passive aggressive than anything. "Lilly, let's refrain from hurting other people. We're already in enough pain as is." She turned back to Heath. "What do you think the man'll do to us? Will he hurt us?"

She wouldn't show it but she knew she would probably get in trouble, or worse. She would be beaten by this demon teen full of angst. She almost wanted to kick him again. The look Puyo gave her didn't help. 'Just because you're older than me doesn't mean both of you can be jerks!' She thought to herself, she knew that if she continued to push it would just make her cry. Though she knew she couldn't help it.

He ignored the ten year old, he would never hurt someone, unless he had too. But he sure as hell would refrain from giving them the good bits of the food he cooks. " I think he won't be kind to us, I have a feeling things might get worse, especially if we stick around long enough. ", He replied. "I hope the older kids can help."

She had decided to stop altogether and walk off the sadness, it would at least stop her from breaking down near a lot of people, and maybe it would stop her from doing it altogether. She let her umbrella fall as she made her way out of the room and somewhere else. She just didn't know where she was going, but she hoped it was far away from something like this.

Wren looked at Puyo with a questioning look. A person? Here? She felt a little light of hope, but when she looked back to Kimani it filled with dread. She couldn't leave her without everyone with her. She would feel guilt for the rest of her life if she did something as selfish as that. Wren snapped out of her thoughts and nodded softly at Elizabeth.
"I am happy he's alive. But..." She looked at Kimani for a moment. Wren leaned over and in a hushed tone said, "but I'm scared for him. Adopters take the children with the least injuries most times. Although there are those sweet couples, they're rare. I-I can't stand the thought of him here by himself."
Kimani sat silent as always, and after he had forced the last of the food down his throat, he laid back down and stared at the ratty ceiling.

"Thanks," Elliott smiled at the younger girl, pressing the towel to her cheek. "She sent me down here to help... is there anything in particular?" Yikes. Dots littered her vision, but she blinked through them. Breathe.
